Episode 1 - Creatures of the Night

I sat in the car next to my twin brother, Theo. My head sat against the window as I watched the raindrops fall to the ground.

"How long is this going to take?" I asked Theo through gritted teeth.

"I don't know, just remember to not let your anger get the best of you. We need them to trust us." Theo replied calmly.

I didn't reply. I knew about the plan already, since we went through it that many times. I could recite it over and over again.

"I'm gonna see if I can get some service." and with that, Theo got out of the car.

A few more minutes passed. I was bored out of my mind and I was fed up already. I had IED, which is an anger problem. Well, I call it an anger problem since it gets in the way a lot. my head hadn't moved from the window, but I pulled it off once I heard my brother say, "I'm not getting anything either."

When my brother got in the car, I spoke, "Who the hell were you talking to?"

My face held a look of shock when he said, "It was the kitsune."

To be honest, I didn't reply care about what my brother did. We've both done bad things. Theo is good at manipulation. He's calm and collective, whereas I'm impatient and frustrated. I'm usually the killer and the one who gets us in trouble. Once my brother told me about the pack, I was looking forward to finding some more people like me.

A roar of an engine took me from my train of thoughts. I watched as an asian girl ran past the car and towards a boy sat on a motorbike. When they kissed, my face held a disgusted look.

"Ugh, so cheesy." I rolled my eyes, but when I looked at Theo, my brows furrowed.

"Why are you smirking?" I asked him.

"That's Scott and the kitsune."

When we got to the school, the rain was pouring even harder than we would've liked. However, the sound of the rain crashing against the ground didn't silence the commotion we heard from the tunnels. 

"Well, at least we have a better chance at gaining their trust now." Theo rolled his eyes at my statement. We both ran towards the tunnel and to a normal human, what we saw would be shocking, but to us, we were the least surprised. 

I flashed my yellow eyes as I watched my brother run towards the chimera. Theo jumped off the wall, slashing the chimera's face with his claws. When the chimera swung at Theo, he blocked the hit and slashed him multiple times once again. From there, Scott who was currently lying on the floor could see Theo's face, but it was clear that he didn't recognise him.

My twin kneed the chimera in the stomach before swinging at his face, however the chimera blocked his action and kneed him back in the stomach, before throwing Theo to the ground. I knew that it was my turn.

I let out a roar as I ran towards the chimera who injured my brother, before sliding between his legs and kicking him to the ground. I aimed to kick his back, but he rolled out of the way before kicking my foot from underneath me. I wasn't done though, as I did a backward walkover to stay up and slashed the chimera's face and leg with my claws. However, the chimera threw his fist at my head and I was sent flying to the ground next to my brother. 

As the alpha and the chimera started to fight again, Theo crawled over to me.

"Eilish! Are you ok?" he asked as he lay a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine." I growled, throwing his hand off me.

We both turned our heads when we heard a grunt of pain from Scott, as he was picked up by his neck. When the chimera stuck his talons into the alpha, they went a menacing blue colour as Scott let of a shout of pain. I watched as the alpha lost the red colour from his eyes, and dropped to his knees, talons still in his chest. I heard footsteps as I saw three people, who I assumed were part of the pack, run down the stairs into the tunnel. I started to stand up with Theo and the girl from the traffic jam who was thrown to the ground earlier on, still turned.

Suddenly, Scott grabbed the chimera's arm as his eyes shone a deep red, and he stood up and twisted the chimera's arm, breaking it instantly. The chimera let out a roar of pain, and Theo and I's faces were full of shock, not realising how powerful the true alpha really was. He then pulled the talons out of his chest and threw them to the ground.

"I don't know who you are, or what you thought you were going to do, but I'll give you a choice. You can stay and I'll break something else, or you can run." When the chimera didn't answer, another voice spoke:

"I'd run." I turned my head towards the entrance of the tunnel where I saw one of the three people. Stiles.

The chimera then got up an ran away, but as I went to chase after him to finish him off, Theo stopped me, whispering "Leave it".

The five people in the tunnel with us, whom we only knew two of, then joined together and all turned to look at us.

No longer turned, Theo smiled and walked forward, as I stood with my arms crossed, a smirk plastered across my face. 

"You don't remember us do you?" he said to the pack.

"I guess we look a little different since the fourth grade." he carried on.

A look of realisation flashed across Scott's face, when he said "Theo?", then looked at me.

"Eilish?"

We both gave small nods. One of the girls from the pack that we hadn't heard from yet asked Scott, "You know em?"

Before Scott could reply, I stepped forward and spoke for the first time: "They used to."

Theo carried on after my words, "Trust me, I never thought I'd see you guys again. A couple of months ago we heard of an alpha in Beacon Hills. When I found out his name was Scott McCall, I just couldn't believe it. Not just an alpha, but a true alpha."

After a moment of silence, Scott spoke.

"What do you want?" 

"I've come back to Beacon Hills," he looked to me when he said, "back home with my family. Because we want to be a part of your pack."

When they said nothing, I spoke: "Remember, we did just help you back there, so it would be nice if-"

"What she means is, we can give you time to think." Theo cut me off. I rolled my eyes. Theo then turned and walked out of the tunnel, and I followed.
