Episode 2 - Parasomnia

When we got to school, Theo turned to me.

"Eilish, listen to me. You need to calm down with the rude comments. They need to trust us, remember?"

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. When I walked around to Theo's side, I saw him smiling at someone. I followed his eyesight and saw Stiles and one of the girls from last night looking at us. I forced a smile and we both waved at them.

I was stood at my locker, after putting my books away, when my locker was slammed shut. I turned around to see Stiles with a serious look on his face. I forced a smile and greeted him. 

"Hey Stiles! What's up?"

"Cut the crap Eilish. You're coming with me." And with that, he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the boys' locker room, where I found Theo and Scott waiting for us. I walked over to Theo and leant against the wall next to him.

"Ok. How did you become werewolves?" Scott asked us.

Theo began to explain. "We were skating in the neighbour's empty pool, I was trying to do a hand plant, since Eilish could. Nobody was home, I'm not that good of a skateboarder but I guess I was feeling pretty determined because we completely lost track of time. I didn't even realise it was night until the yard lights came on. As I said I wasn't very good, and Eilish was watching from the sidelines. On my last try I went down and- and hit hard. Really hard. I didn't even notice that Eilish had gone missing. I was sitting there, at the bottom of the pool, and I realised something. I never heard the board come back down. It came at me fast. I barely had a chance to turn around before it bit me. Right here." Theo pointed at his right abdomen.

To be honest, Theo's explanation seemed very real. I would've believed it if I didn't know the real story.

Scott then spoke: "Well it wasn't an accident. He wanted to turn you."

"Right, so why aren't you both apart of his pack then?" Stiles asked from the other side of the room.

I stepped forward. "Because by the time of our first full moon, he was dead."

I already knew that I wasn't as good as Theo at manipulation. Theo's eyes were red and full of tears, whereas I had a serious face. Although it was better than my usual scowl.

"How did you know that?" Stiles interrogated further.

"We met another one of his pack a couple weeks later. He told us that the alpha that bit us, was killed by two of his own betas. They were twins." I explained.

Scott and Stiles looked at each other then, before looking down. They knew about Ethan and Aiden already.

"Scott, listen to my pulse I'm telling you the truth." Theo pleaded.

"And mine" I added on.

Me and Theo both learned how to control our pulses a while ago. It helped with things like these.

Stiles got off the locker he was leaning on and walked towards us. "Alright, or you both just know how to steady your own heart rate while you're lying your asses off."

At this, we all looked at Stiles, Scott and Theo with disbelief, and me with a glare.

"Wh-why would we lie?" 

"Because maybe you're not who you say you are. I mean, look at Eilish right now. I can tell she hasn't changed."

They all turned to look at me then.
