I walk in to the school, Liam by my side. I wasn't going to lie. I was terrified. We both were. As soon as we walk in, all eyes are on us. Liam's hand finds mine, and we keep walking, ignoring the stares. We're here for one reason, and one reason only. We found out that Scott's house had been shot up, with people like Mason, Melissa and Argent inside, who are humans. And it's safe to say we were pissed.

We storm in to the boy locker room, seeing the person we're looking for, all alone. Liam runs forward, shoving Gabe to the ground.

"I don't know anything, I swear. I don't know what happened at Scott house." Gabe pleads. Liam grabs Gabe's shirt, pulling him up.

"Did you know who was there? Did you know Mason was in there?" Liam shouts.

"No, I didn't know anything. I don't know anything." Gabe pleads again. I roll my eyes, my patience running out.

"I don't have enough patience for this." I say, grabbing Gabe and slamming him face flat against the mirror.

"Maybe you haven't noticed already," I say, "but we've both been having trouble controlling our anger. When things happen to our friends, I just can't seem to help it. I thought you would've learned that from what happened to Nolan."

"No, Eilish, wait, please... Liam help me..." Gabe pleads, but I just get angrier.

"I just get so angry!" I shout, pushing Gabe further in to the mirror, causing it to crack. Blood starts flowing from Gabe's face.

"Stop, Eilish, please..." Gabe cries. I pull Gabe's head off the mirror, only to slam it back on.

"You think I'm going to kill you? Well, you're right. If Liam was in my place, maybe you would've had a chance."

"You're really going to kill him?" A voice says from behind me, and I turn to see Theo, with Liam standing in front of him, obviously not letting him stop me.

"I mean, I don't care if you do. But, have you thought this through? Any idea where you're gonna dump the body? But no one saw you both grab him, did they? Because that could be a problem." Theo says calmly.

"Leave this alone, Theo." Liam warns.

"I don't care." I reply.

"I don't care either." Theo says. "But at least let me help. You do have experience, but we've always been the dream team with this sort of stuff. If we kill him, we'll have to find the witnesses and kill them, too. Which means we're gonna need shovels, some plastic bags, maybe a chainsaw..."

"Shut up!" I shout, pushing Gabe's face harder in to the mirror. The mirror cracks even more. Liam puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Eilish, I hate to say this, but Theo's right. We'd need to find the witnesses, and I don't really want to kill anyone. I never have." Liam says softly.

"Yeah, well I've killed many people, so I'll kill him, and then kill the witnesses too." I say harshly.

"Eilish. Please." Liam pleads. I groan, letting go of Gabe's face as he falls to the floor. I look at the mirror, to see blood stained on the cracked glass.

"You didn't kill him. That's progress." Theo says.

"Why do you keep trying to save us?" Liam asks. "You think it'll make Scott forget about everything you did and he'll just let you in to the pack? Scott's never gonna trust you." My face falls at this.

"You might wanna remember what Scott's goal has been all along. Keep people alive." Theo says.

"He should try harder." Gabe says from the floor. I spin to look at him.
