A loud beeping fills my ears. I feel my eyes begin to open, and I'm shocked to see that I'm alive. My whole body aches, causing me to groan. I heard hurried footsteps, and my brother comes in to view.

"Eilish!" he says in happiness.

"Hey Theo." I smile. I then remember what I did to him. "Oh my god Theo, I am so sorry-"

"Eilish, it's fine. You were just trying to help." Theo smiles at me. Melissa walks in.

"Okay, her body is as good as new, so as soon as she wakes up, she'll be free to go-" she then looks up at me. "Good, you're awake. Your body is alright, so you can go, I'll just do these papers for you." I thank her, and she walks out.

I get up, and Theo leaves the room. Hung up on the door are my clothes. I slip on my black ripped jeans, and I put my plain black t-shirt on, with a red checkered shirt over it. I slip on my black shoes, walking out to greet Theo. As soon as I see him, I run in to his arms, squeezing him.

"I never got to hug you." I say in to his shoulder. He chuckles, pulling away. He puts his arm around me, and we walk through the corridor, towards the front door.

"Eilish!" a voice shouts just as we're about to leave. I turn around, to see Melissa.

"I just want to thank you for what you did. You could've stayed hidden, but you helped, even if it could've killed you. So, thank you."

I smile. "It's no problem. I'll see you soon, yeah?" I ask.

"Hopefully. Good luck, you two."

I wave to her, turning and walking out in to the fresh air. We walk through the parking lot to my brother's car. When we get in, I turn to him.

"So, where to?" I ask. Theo hesitates.

"We have no where to go. We have to stay in the car." My face falls.

"Oh..." I mumble, looking down. I would've thought that someone from the pack could help us, even just see me in the hospital, but I guess not. Theo faces the steering wheel, turning the key in the ignition, and pushing his foot on the accelerator. I watch the trees fly past as we drive to who knows where. I couldn't believe it. They didn't even see me. I shouldn't care, but I do. I care, so, so much. After about 10 minutes, we stop. I look around. It's dark, and the street lights are the only light source.

"Is this where we're sleeping?" I ask. Theo nods.

"I'll sleep here, and you can lie down in the backseats." Theo explains. I nod, climbing in to the back.

"Goodnight, Theo."

"Goodnight, Eilish."

I shut my eyes, and I let the sleep take control.

A knock on the window causes me to open my eyes. I sit up, to see a police officer. He gives me a look.

"Okay." I groan out at him. I lean forwards, tapping Theo on the shoulder.

"Theo." I say in to his ear. He opens his eyes, groaning. "We have to go. There's a cop outside." Theo nods, turning the keys, and pressing his foot down.

It's dark once again. All we did was buy a snack, and just drive around. We stop off at a different place.

"I'll sleep in the driver's seat this time." I tell my brother. He climbs in to the back, while I sit in the front. I close my eyes, too tired to say goodnight.

A tap on the shoulder wakes me up from my slumber. I open my eyes, groaning.

"Eilish. Cops." Theo says. I groan, turning the key and pressing my foot down.

It's dark once more. This time, me and Theo decide to both sleep in the back, opposite each other. We both sit there, not tired enough to sleep yet. All of a sudden, Theo sits up, looking around. I furrow my eyebrows.

"What is it? Did you hear something?" I whisper. Theo looks at me.

"No. Nothing." he lies back down, facing away from me. I roll my eyes, going to sleep once more.

As usual, a cop is stood outside, so we drive off once more.

The same thing happens over and over again. We sleep, then there's a cop to wake us up. That's until one night, about 2 weeks after i got out of the hospital.

We get ready to sleep, until Theo turns the light on. I sit up, about to ask why he turned the light on, until I see that a spider is on his hand. I watch the little creature in awe. That is, until it bites Theo, disappearing under his hand. Theo looks for it in panic, while I watch, shocked.

"We need to go to Deaton. Now." I say to my brother, worried about the spider. I climb into the driver's seat, putting my foot down. I speed down the road, hoping that no cops see how fast I'm going. When we pull up, we both jump out of the car, running to the door. We barge in, and go to the examine room, but nobody's there. Theo runs to a drawer, where he pulls out a scalpel. He turns the light on, looking at me. I nod, knowing that he wants me to do it. Theo pulls his shirt off. I look on his front. Nothing is there. He turns around, and I look on his back. I catch sight of it, crawling up his back, from the inside. I grab the scalpel, stabbing it. Theo grunts. I pull the scalpel out, and look at the end. The spider is stuck, wiggling its legs around, trying to break free. It then disappears in black smoke, and I look at Theo in shock. I drop the scalpel. I don't think I like spiders anymore.

"I think we should call Scott." Theo says.

"I agree."

We run out, getting in to the car, where Theo picks up his phone. He goes on to contacts, and he clicks on Scott. He hesitates, but he goes to click call. A knock on the window stops us. I roll my eyes. Another cop. We both look up, to see a gun pointed at us. My eyes widen. I look around, to see we are surrounded. Theo raises his hands, and I follow. They don't care about this though, as they open fire at us. Bullets pierce my skin, and I shout in pain. They keep coming. I duck down, but there's no point. We're surrounded, so they always have an angle that they can shoot us. After about 15 bullet wounds, they stop, and the doors open. I feel a pair of hands grab me,   dragging me out of the car, and on to the floor. I groan in pain, as a bag is placed on my head.
