I placed my fingers on each side of head on my temples. This mother- the dude had completely lost his mind. If he thought for one second I was going to go along with his crazy ass proposition, he had another thing coming. What did I look like? A fool?

"Well?" He pried as he crossed his arms and waited for my answer.

Walking around the room, holding up my index finger. "Let me get this right, you'll do the interview if I let you kill me?"

He laughed and shook his head. But my temper was on the verge of going off. What the hell did he find so funny. I crossed my arms and cocked my head back as if I were offended. I mean, I was.

"Is something amusing to you?" I asked.

He licked his lip and made eye contact with me. "Actually yes, you. You're not letting me do anything. I'm going to kill you regardless but if you cooperate, I'll do the interview then kill you. If you don't I'll just kill you with no interview. Fair enough?"

Yes. His marbles was completely scattered. If he wasn't such an ass, I could easily comment on his attractiveness. He was very handsome but his mouth and attitude were major drawbacks.

Mental slap! Why oh why was I even letting this run through my brain. There was nothing more I would like to do than to smack that smirk off his face but he would have my head. Hell, he was probably going to have it regardless.

"Why would I even agree to that?" I was confused.

He frowned in amusement, "The fact that you think you have say in all of this is where you're sadly mistaken. Now, if we're going to get this interview done, I suggest we get started. Shall we?"

I shook my head and held up me hand to stop all of this. There were questions that I wanted to ask him that had nothing to do with the interview.

"No. Why me? Why do you want to kill me? I don't even know you. I didn't do anything to you whatsoever." I explained, still confused as to why he showed up here to kill me.

Then again, neither did his prior victims.

He sighed. Oh, was I annoying him? Too freaking bad.

"This isn't important. Now are we doing this or do you just want me to go ahead and accomplish what I came here to do?" He said, stepping forward to me but I didn't move.

I looked up at his face and folded my hands behind my back. His face was grim and dark. He was hiding something but I would probably be dead before I even had the chance to find out what it was.

"How did you know about me?" I asked, curious as to how even knew I existed.

He could save the bull crap about having reliable sources because he had no idea who I-

"I've known you for awhile now." He finished the thought that was in my head. Apparently he wasn't going to elaborate any further.

Now this confession brought a whole new bunch of questions to my head. Honestly, I didn't know where to start.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I tucked my tongue in my cheek. He caught on to my expression and shook his head.

"No. That's all you're getting from me. You're already wasting my time. You were supposed to be dead half an hour ago. I have other things that I need to do." He explained quickly and rudely.

His body language gave off a sense of tension. Now he was in hurry to go but maybe if I could keep him talking, I could maybe talk him out of killing me. At least until I got all the answers I needed.

His eyes watched me as I walked around the room as untried to conjure up a plan to prolong things. Running a hand through my hair, I faced him. I was hoping he would go for this.

"Okay hear me out. How about you don't kill me right now. And-"

He scoffed before he even heard the rest. My eyes turned to slits. "Problem?"

Chuckling, he sniffed and rubbed under his nose as if he was sharing some kind of stupid joke with himself.

"Can I finish?" I asked, smartly.

"Continue." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes and began to finish what I was going to say.

"As I was saying, don't kill me and maybe we can come to an agreement on something. Maybe I can give you something in return for sparing me?" I asked hopeful, closing my eyes and waiting for him to answer.

Yes, maybe I was begging but this was my life I was we were talking about here and I had to save it.

He still hadn't answered, so I opened my eyes to see him watching me closely. He hadn't moved a muscle. I could the wheels in his head were turning. I just hoped they were turning in my favor.

Lifting his hand to his chin, he rubbed the goatee that resides there and slowly nodded. His other hand going under his armpit, slowly turning his body side to side.

"Something in return hm?" He asked and I quickly regretted my decision.

"Yes." I spoke quickly and quietly, wondering where he was going with this.

He nodded. I watched as his tongue ran across his teeth in his closed mouth. "Okay, deal."

I smiled, "Really?"

"Yup but remember, this was your proposition. Not mine." He said in amused tone but now heading to the door.

I frowned and took a step forward wanting to reach out but remembering that would be a good idea.

"What about the interview?" I asked, catching him before he exited.

He stopped and looked over at me. "Tomorrow night. 9:15."

I nodded, "Tomorrow night. Gotcha."

"Oh!" He said holding up his finger at me to pause the moment. "Don't ever in your life roll your eye at me."

Without waiting for a response, he leaves. The door clicking softly behind him. Immediately, I head over to lock it.

Tonight had not went like I thought it was. It actually went better. He left, I'm still alive... for now. Things were looking up. Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding, I made my way over to the bed and grabbed the files that were sprawled across it.

I picked them up and took them over to the table and sat down. Maybe if I could get a confession from him, I could help these family get closure. But I sighed. Who was I kidding, there was no way that was going to happen. Besides, he already did give me a confession.

Alicia was delicious

He admitted to killing her. So I'm pretty sure he killed the rest of them. What was I doing! Making a deal with a vampire. They lie, they were conniving and most of all users. They would use you for their benefit and be underhanded while smiling in your face. How could I be so stupid. But the good thing was that I didn't trust him completely.

Oh well. I picked up my phone and seen that I had a missed called from Jolie and Kennth. Jolie was calling to see why I was so quick with getting off the phone. Kenny was calling to see what I wanted from earlier when he didn't pick up. I'd call them both back later but right now I had another person I promised to visit. I found my next contact and pushed dial.

"Hey mom, you up? I'm on my way."

What a night.

Also, Happy Birthday MichaelJacksonsAngel
