I Might be in Love With you (Theo James Fanfic)

Chapter 1

        "Chanel, would you please call your brother downstairs for breakfast?" My mother asked me, finishing up setting up the table. I went straight up to my brother's room to see that he was still asleep.

        "WAKE UP!" I yelled in his ear, loud enough for my mother to hear.

        "Ugh would you just go away for once and let me sleep?" He replied. I gave a small giggle and grabbed him by the arm, pulling him towards the staircase.

        "Fine fine, I can go down myself." I followed him down, smelling the fresh scent of pancakes lingering in the kitchen. I sat down, starting to eat my pancakes and then I noticed my dad wasn't here.

        "Mom?" I asked,

        "Yes, dear?"  She replied, taking a bite of her pancakes.

        "Where's dad?" There was a long pause. My brother, Aiden, and I waited anxiously for my mom to answer. For a second I thought he was just late but my mom had a sad look on her face. 

        "Your father has left for a," She took a pause, glancing at the clock behind us, "unexpected business trip. He should be back soon." She smiled, taking a slow breath. Aiden and I looked at each other, with a suspicious look. Just then, I realized I forgot about a date Alex and I had to go to!

        "Mom! I have to go catch a date with Alex." I said, with a sense of panic in my voice. I quickly ran to my coat in my pyjamas, forgetting to change, putting on my shoes and dashed outside. "Bye mom! Bye Aiden!"

        "Bye!" They said in unison, but for some reason my mom still had that sad look lingering on her face. I was running as fast as i could, and I must admit, I look ridiculous. Just then, I stumble upon something and fall backwards, just as I was about to scream in pain I felt two muscular hands grab me by my waist. My heart was beating so fast I had trouble breathing. I looked back at the stranger to find myself gazing into his gorgeous brown eyes.

        "I-I I'm sorry." I told him, stepping away from him. 

        "Watch where you fall next time," He told me, giving me a smirk. But I could not help and look back at him while running. He was gorgeous. Soon enough I was at the park, my face was red, my brown hair falling (somehow) perfectly over my shoulders and I stood in front of the entrance panting. As I looked around, I couldn't spot Alex anywhere. Was I really here earlier than him? Ugh. I found myself a bench and sat down, looking up at the bright blue sky, watching people pass by with so many worries on their mind. And here I was, thinking I was late when in reality, I turned out to come early.

        Twenty minutes went by. He still wasn't here. I started to get worried but I knew he'd come soon. Another five minutes which seemed like an hour went by. He wasn't going to come any time soon so I stood up and started walking my way home, looking down on the ground, not looking where I was going. How could he do that? Just ditch me? This isn't the Alex I know. Then all of a sudden I bump into someone.
