Chapter 13

JENNIE'S POV

It has been months that Lisa is courting me. She is nothing but a persistent and patient girl for me. I admit that I already has some feelings for her. Like, come on! Who in their right mind wouldn't??

As I was saying, I feel something for her but I feel like it is not yet enough for me to engage in a relationship with her.

It's not like I'm doubting her feelings for me. But if you came from a traumatic relationship, there will be so much to consider.

For an instance, I knew Lisa was a heartless and cold person before I met her. She never took a relation seriously. She admitted her past to me that's why I know. Now, I fear that she will return to that state while I'm with her.

Call me paranoid and all, but can you blame me? Kai was nothing but a good boyfriend to me before, but he did changed. And he changed drastically. I don't know if I can pass that phase again if ever that it will happen.

And I know this paranoia will take me nowhere. But I don't know how to overcome it. Also, Lisa did not asked me yet to be her girlfriend which is a good thing I guess?

She's not pressuring me into committing in a relationship. Although I feel like we're already an item.

Like, she's waiting by the school gate every morning whenever I have a class. She's also bringing me home right after. If I have to go somewhere and Jisoo or the girls cannot accompany me, she will be my companion.

She's hanging out with my sister at our house whenever she's visiting and I am hanging out with her friends in her house or in their gig every now and then.

The only thing missing is a label on both of us.

My train of thoughts were cut by a loud thud on the table that got me startled. I looked on where the sound came from only to see my ever so loving Unnie smirking at me.

"Yah! Why did you do that, Unnie!?" I yelled at her

"'Cause I've been calling you for the nth time but you're just stabbing your poor chicken. What's wrong with you?" She said as she motioned to my plate.

As I look down, I saw how my chicken is really shredded to tiny pieces.

I put down my utensils and sigh. "It's nothing, Unnie."

"You're calling me Unnie since earlier so I know that it's not nothing. You can share anything with me, Jenduek. You know that." She asked as she reached for my hand for a light squeez.

I sighed again and looked at her. "It's because of Lisa."

"What about her? Did she do something to you?" She asked a bit worried.

"No, she didn't do anything wrong. It's just that, I'm thinking of my relationship with her. You know? It's been months already that she's courting." I said as I shrugged my shoulders up like it's really nothing.

"Yeah, it's been months. Already planning on making her your girlfriend?" Jisoo asked so casually like she's already anticipating it.

"Yah! How could you say that?"

"Simple. You looked exactly the way she looks at you whenever one is not looking at another.  I know you feel something for her too. And Lisa is a good person. If you're worrying about our parents, I know that they will understand." She explained to me.
