LISA'S POV

I know that Jennie finds me a little weird because of my actions the past few days. It's just that I felt right whenever I'm with her. Maybe because we have shared something deep with each other.

I don't annoy or tease her this time. Cause frankly? I just do those antics for her to notice me and give me a reason to talk to her and see her face.

Maybe, I am really attracted to her from the very start. Her feline eyes that always hooks me specially when she give me her deadly glare. I find her like a cute angry kitten everytime she does that.

After the first ever serious talk with her on my Mom's death anniversary, I am conviced that she's really a good person. She never judged me on my way of coping up with my loss but instead, she even cried with me while walking down my memory lane.

And then when I heard her story, it gave me a strong feeling to protect her from now on. I remembered the one time that she was about to get harrassed by some douchbag. I cannot imagine if ever that no one is there for her at that moment.

When I got home that night from my mother's grave, I went straight to my studio, grabbed my notebook and pen and wrote a song for her. It only took me 10 minutes to write the lyrics and another 15 minutes for the melody. It was the fastest song that I have composed so far.

In my excitement, even though I'm still a bit drunk, I called Bam, Jackson and Chaeng to arrange the song into a full band melody. They were surprised that I called them up urgently and surprised about the lyrics that I wrote.

They are somewhat used to my depressive, sad and angry lyrics but this time, it's an encouragement song. I know that they all wanted to ask me about the song but they chose to shut up and let me be, which I am thankful.

🎶 When the light disappears
And when this world's insincere
You'll be safe here 🎶

I know that like me, she's also alone in the dark since no one in her family or friends knew what she has been through before.

🎶 When nobody hears you scream
I'll scream with you
You'll be safe here 🎶

I also knew that she wanted to tell the world that she's hurting, wanted to scream for help but chose not to.

🎶 In my arms
Through the long cold night
Sleep tight
You'll be safe here 🎶

For all the sleepless night that she had, I wanted her to feel secured.

🎶 When no one understands
I'll believe
You'll be safe
You'll be safe
You'll be safe here
Put your heart in my hands
You'll be safe here 🎶

And if she ever let me, I will make sure that no one will ever hurt her again.

As the song ended, I opened my eyes and it automatically landed on Jennie's. She's kind of teary eyed. I wish she realized that the person I'm pertaining to earlier was her.

This song is made for her.

Our eye contact was broken because of the change of music since we've already finished our set. The song was once again lively that broke the spell on us.
