Chapter 8

JENNIE'S POV

It's Friday now and I can't still digest the fact that Lisa invited me, I mean us, into their gig. I have asked permission from Jisoo and she's okay with it as long as I will not drink much and she'll be with us this time. She said that she miss the performance of Lisa's band.

I haven't given my answer to Lisa yet cause I just spoke with Jisoo regarding this only last night.

Also, the past few days are still oblivious for me. Often times, Lisa and Chaeyoung will join us on lunch breaks. Sometimes, Jackson and Bambam are also with them.

I know that the fact Lisa is hanging out with us is already circulating the whole campus. And that means gossips and rumors about us are everywhere. I often hear that I will be just like other girls that was associated with Lisa. A one night stand.

Sometimes, I hear them say that maybe I was playing hard to get that's why Lisa is still hanging around with me. I just shrug those things everytime I hear them or if ever my friends hear them. I don't want to be involved into a fight with some low life people.

As the day comes to close, I saw Lisa standing near the gate like waiting for someone. I just shrugged my shoulders and continued to walk outside then she spotted me.

"Hey, Jennie!" She said as she jogged to approach me.

"Hey, Lisa?" I just said.

"Ahhm. So about later? Can you come? I mean, can you guys come?" She asked while rubbing her nape.

Cute. I thought

"Ahhmmm. Yeah. Regarding that, we will be there. My sister will join us this time." I answered.

"That's great then! I'll see you later. Our set starts at 8pm. See you later." She said smilling brightly and runs back to the parking lot to get her car probably.

I just shook my head. Still amazed on her sudden change. She's not doing anything to tease or annoy me anymore. She's really friendly that I even catch Chaeyoung being shocked with her attitude.

It's not that I'm complaining. It just feels surreal that from being cat and mouse, I can consider her now as a friend along with Chaeyoung, Bam and Jackson.

7:45. We entered the bar and looked for Lisa's group. She spotted us right away, stood up and waved her hand to catch our attention. I waved back to acknowledge that I've seen her and guided Jisoo, Irene and Seulgi to their table.

As we approach them, she gave her bright smile and greeted us.

"Hey guys! Good thing you've arrived. We'll start in a few. Where are the others?" She asked.

"Momo couldn't make it tonight cause Dahyun and her already have a plan while Mina has family dinner that she cannot ditch." Irene answered for me.

"Oh okay. At least you guys still came." She said then turned to me and looked at Jisoo.

"Oh yeah! Guys, this is my sister, Jisoo. Jisoo, these are Lisa, Bambam, Jackson and Chaeyoung." I introduced them to each other.
