First Day of School

"Well, we're all awake," Cole said to the others in the kitchen.  "Where are our kids?"

"I think they're all still sleeping," Jay said.

"I'll wake them up!" Kai said as he ran to the gong.  "I enjoy being able to do this."  Kai hit the gong and all the parents could hear their kids shouting and complaining.

"Remember when we used to do that," Lloyd said.

"Those were the days," Cole said.

"You think they would start getting used to it, considering that we had been training them all summer," Nya said.

"Zeke, Harper, and Felix just started training during the summer," Skylor said.  "The others had already been training for a while."

"Well, we all agreed that 12 is the perfect age for them to start training," Seliel said.

Just then, Zeke, Harper, and Felix came running in.

"Are you ready for school?" PIXAL asked.

"Yes mom," Felix replied.

"I'm so excited!  We're starting middle school!" Harper exclaimed.

"No more sitting in one class the entire day," Zeke said.  "Now we'll have six classes."

Juliet, Mason, and Rosie came walking in and were talking excitedly.

"What are you so excited about?" Skylor asked them.

"We're starting high school!" Juliet exclaimed.

"We've been waiting to go to high school for years," Mason added.

"What's so great about high school?" Justin asked as he walked in with Alex and Max.  None of them really looked that happy.

"What's wrong with you guys?" Rosie asked.

"You guys are freshman, so high school does seem exciting," Alex said kindly.  "We're juniors and since we've been going to high school so long, we know that that excitement you have right now will blow over."

"Freshman year is probably the easiest year," Max added.  "Enjoy it while you can."

"Breakfast is ready," Zane said as he brought the food to the table.

"Thanks for offering to cook this morning for everyone Zane," Britney said.

"Of course.  We have to give the kids a good first day back at school breakfast."

"I could cook tomorrow if everyone wants," Cole offered.

"NO!!!" everyone screamed at him.

"Ok fine.  Yeesh."

"Zeke, Harper, Felix, just remember," Lloyd started.  "No powers or fighting at school.  We had to tell the others that after their training started.  Your parents don't want a call from the school saying you burned someone, or froze them, or beat them to a pulp.  Do you understand?"

"Yes Master Lloyd," the three kids nodded in agreement.

After breakfast the kids were taken to their schools.

Ninjago Middle School

"Yay!  We're here!" Harper exclaimed excitedly as she walked into the school with Zeke and Felix.

"What does your guys' schedules look like?" Felix asked.  They all showed each other their schedules.

"Looks like we have mostly the same classes," Zeke said.  "We're just separated for our electives and PE."
