"Ok," Max started. All of the new team was working on a plan to defeat their enemies. "We know that Nathan, his father, and Yuying are planning on a way to take us out. We need to figure out their plan."

"We know that they Nathan's father has studied the weaknesses of elemental masters," Alex added. "Considering how they held mine and Justin's dad as well as Max's dad captive and knew that vengestone renders our powers useless."

"Well, Nathan also used it on us in our first battle against him," Justin said.

"I hated having my powers rendered useless," Mason said.

"If Nathan's father has studied elemental masters' weaknesses, does that mean he could be working on a way to take out all elemental masters?" Juliet asked.

"That is...actually an excellent question," Max said surprised. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I hadn't thought of that possibility."

"If they do that it would take us out as well as our parents!" Zeke exclaimed scared.

"We won't let that happen!" Justin said to help calm his little cousin.

"Harper and I would be fine," Rosie said. "As well as my mom, Harper's mom, and Max's mom. Maybe we should consider a safe location for elemental masters."

"We can't give up!" Alex exclaimed.

"I wasn't suggesting giving up, just having a back up plan in case what they're planning is really bad."

"That is a good idea Rosie," Felix said. "I believe that out parents put a safe bunker in the Samurai X Cave."

"They did. I know exactly where it is and it's pretty big."

"You know the Samurai X Cave in and out Rosie," Juliet said and laughed a little.

"I am the Samurai X. I spend a lot of time in there."

"We need to send an alert to the other elemental masters and get them in the bunker as well as our parents," Max said. "Then, we'll take care of Nathan, his father, and Yuying." He looked around at everyone. "Suit up! We have a long day ahead of us." Everyone went to get their ninja gis, except for Rosie, she went to get her armor and her mech.

Afterwards, they went to their parents who sent a signal out to the other elemental masters.

"Are you sure about this Max?" Lloyd asked his son.

"Yes dad," Max said confidently. "This is my team and this is our plan. We need you as well as your team and all the other elemental masters in the bunker for protection. We may not know their full plan yet, but we do know that elemental masters are going to be targeted. Having mom as well as Rosie and Felix's mom and Mason and Harper's mom in there is just an extra safety precaution in case they target this place."

"If you're sure-" Lloyd was cut off.

"I am sure! Alex may show this more to her dad than I show to you, but I lived five years of my early life without you and I don't want to lose you again and I don't want to lose mom either." Tears formed in Max's eyes that he refused to let slip.

Lloyd pulled Max in for a hug. "You won't lose me...or your mom. I trust your judgement. This is your team and your mission." Lloyd pushed Max away to face him. "Just do me a favor."

"Anything."

"Be careful and stay safe. Your mother and I don't want to lose you either."

Max gave his father a soft smile. "I'll do my best." They walked out to the training yard where everyone else was gathered along with the other elemental masters and their kids who inherited their powers. Master Wu was even among them. He retired about 8 years ago and went to try to live a normal life. He reopened his tea shop and Misako helped him run it. "Great Uncle Wu!" Max yelled and ran up to him and gave him a hug.

"It is good to see you Max," Wu said.

"Uncle Wu," Lloyd greeted him.

"Hello Lloyd. I see Max has now officially taken the mantle of the green ninja."

"He has. What we're doing is actually the plan that him and his team came up with."

"You're taking this relatively well Lloyd."

"Yeah. I'm just trying to look calm. I'm honestly freaking out on the inside."

"That's normal for a parent."

"Wu!" Britney called as she came over.

"Hello Britney."

"It's so good to see you."

"It's good to see you too."

"I guess I should say something to everyone," Max said. He went over to the rest of his team who had already spoken to their parents. "Hello everyone!" Max got everyone's attention. "I'm Max, the new Master of Energy and this is my team. I know you are all probably wondering why we called you here. The reason is that there is a new threat we have been dealing with and we have reason to believe they are planning on harming elemental masters. We want you all to go into a safe bunker in the Samurai X Cave until we know it is safe. We examined it and it's surprisingly big. We packed plenty of food and water to last everyone a week while we take care of these guys."

"How do we know we can trust you?!" someone shouted.

"Because he's my son!" Lloyd shouted and stood in front of the new team along with his old team. "You guys trusted us before and now we need you to put your faith in our kids. They can handle this, but they want to make sure that we're all safe." Everyone nodded and Lloyd looked back at Max.

"Thanks dad," Max said.

"You did good."

The new team guided everyone to the bunker in the Samurai X Cave. After everyone was safely inside, they went on the hunt for their enemies.

They found a potential spot that the bad guys could be hiding in and went to investigate. They were running on rooftops with the Samurai X mech hovering over them. They were following Max since he's their leader when all of a sudden, he stopped and clutched his head. Everyone else also started clutching their heads, except for Rosie and Harper.

"What's happening?" Harper asked panicked.

"It has begun," Rosie replied.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed!

I am still safe at home.  The fire looks to be moving away from us, but the air quality is pretty bad.  Bad news is that we have more thunderstorms coming Sunday-Tuesday.  2020 has just been an awful year.  Hope everyone is safe and healthy wherever you live.
