Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago or "Mean" by Taylor Swift, just the story.

I feel the song fits with the story.

Justin was at his locker when Rosie walked up to him.

"Hey Justin," Rosie said.

"Oh hey Rosie," Justin said as he turned to face her.

"Any issues with Nathan today?"

"Not yet."

"Not yet indeed," Nathan said as he walked up to them.

"Are you kidding me Nathan?!" Justin said as he faced him.

"One of the elemental freaks and a nindroid. Must be my lucky day."

"I thought I told you Rosie as well as Juliet and Mason are off limits!"

"You really like getting beat up by me, don't you?"

"I'd rather let you hurt me than having you hurt anyone else!"

"Have it your way." Nathan punched Justin in the face and Justin hit the floor with a hard smack.

"Justin! Justin, are you ok?!" Rosie said as she crouched down next to Justin.

"See you next time Lightning Dork...oh and you too Robogirl." Nathan walked away.

Justin was still on the ground, holding the side of his face in pain. A few bystanders saw, but did nothing. Everyone just continued on with the rest of their day. Rosie noticed how no one was doing anything. No one even cared! She turned back to Justin. "Justin, are you alright?" she asked concerned.

"I-I'll b-be f-fine," Justin said. Rosie helped him up.

Alex and Max saw Rosie help Justin up and ran over to them.

"What happened?" Alex asked.

"Run in with Nathan," Justin replied, still holding the side of his face.

"Justin, move your hand."

"Why?"

"So we can see how bad it is." Justin nodded and slowly moved his hand away. Alex, Max, and Rosie gasped at how it looked. A big bruise was already forming there.

"I don't think you guys will be able to hide this one from your parents," Rosie said.

"We have to tr-" Justin got cut off.

"Rosie is right Justin," Alex said. "We can't keep lying to them. Telling them school is fine when it's hell for us. We have to come clean to them. We can't keep this up."

"I agree with Alex," Max said. "All the pain that Nathan has put us through has been too much. We have to tell them."

"Justin, are you sure you're alright?" Rosie asked.

"I-I'll be fine," Justin replied, but flinched in pain when he touched the bruise.

"You didn't respond when I asked you if you were ok the first time."

"I think I blacked out for a minute."

"Maybe you should go to the nurse."

"There's a reason we don't," Max said. "The nurse won't do anything to help. This whole school is biased against us."

"That's why we're always taking care of each other," Alex added. "The only people who might like us are some of the teachers who will be sympathethic towards us. Be careful Rosie. Anyone who may seem nice is probably just trying to prank you. You also might want to pass that message onto Juliet and Mason."
