Miku's POV:

Continued Flashback:

I couldn't believe my eyes, OR my ears. Meito was one of the most popular boys in the whole school...why was he even SPEAKING to me!? He was a year older than me and half of the girls in the school wanted to be "with" him.

He smiled and entered the room. "Come on, keep playing. You play beautifully."

"Th...thank you..." I stammered. "B...but I should really go to lunch now..."

Meito made a pouting face. "Aw please? Just one more song?"

I felt the corners of my mouth turn up a little. "O...okay..." I played another song. This time one that my dad wrote with me.

Meito sat on the piano bench next to me and watched my fingers run across the keys. He tapped his fingers on his lap in time with the tune.

Once I was finished I let my hands fall onto my lap. "Okay...there you go." I stood up to rush to the cafeteria.

Meito stood up just as quick and gave me a quick peck on the cheek.

My hand FLEW to my cheek and I staggered back in surprise. "Wha...what was that!?" I cried, trying to hide my furiously blushing face.

Meito laughed. "A kiss you goose. Now come on, I'll walk you to the cafeteria." He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the cafeteria.

For the next few weeks, Meito would follow me pretty much everywhere. He was always saying nice things to me and trying to make me blush. (Which he usually succeeded in since no one was ever nice to me) He would even walk me from and to school.

For the first time in my entire life I had an actual friend. It made me so happy. He didn't seem to care that I was always plastered in bandages...he just accepted me.

It was so nice, that when Meito asked me if I would be his girlfriend...I said yes.

Meito was never around when I was being bullied...now I just think that he would avoid me when I was being bullied so that he wouldn't have to deal with it.

Then things started changing...Meito started acting weird. He would grab me really hard, so hard that it left marks. Every time we were alone he would get a look in his eyes that scared me. He would pull my hair to get my attention, even when I WAS paying attention to him. One day on our way home from school, he actually started screaming at me because I don't pay enough attention to him.

It just kept getting worse. I was playing the piano like I usually do before I go to lunch, and Meito was there listening as usual. All of a sudden he stood and flung the piano cover shut. Almost smashing my fingers in the process.

He put one hand on the piano and leaned down towards me. "I saw that dorky kid Oliver smiling at you. Why did you smile back?"

"Wha...WHAT!?" I cried. What the heck was he talking about!?

"Don't deny it. I saw you smile, you better remember that your MY girlfriend." Meito raged.

"B...but I DIDN'T smile at him!" I protested and tried to remember what had happened. I don't remember even LOOKING at anyone during class...in fact...I didn't even know there was a kid named Oliver in my CLASS.

"Don't contradict me Miku." Meito growled.

"But Meito I didn't..."

Meito's hand flew towards my face. The slapping noise echoed in the room.
