Chapter 4

Now or never I got to text him but it's been 3 weeks since we have talked what if He ignores me. That's when..........

What if He doesn't reply urhgg, Blake thought. That's when a vibration was felt in her back pocket quickly reacting thinking it was Tadam she yanked her phone out of her pocket to find it was one of his friends Blake answered "hello?"

"Hey Blake this is Lucas. " He sounded like He was weirded out I answered "OK what's up why'd you call?" Blake said "umm well could you meet me at the waffle house we met in? " He sounds like he's sweating Blake thought. "Ok but wh-" He cut her off "please don't ask why just be there in 5 kay' " "ok. " He hung up " I wonder what that was all about." Blake mumbled to herself. She just got dressed and left.

Lucas was already there He wasn't bad looking He was actually cute. He's slightly taller than Blake with gray eyes with a golden skin tone. He also so wore a black shirt with black jeans and black shoes with white laces.

"Hey I'm glad you could make it have a seat." He said with a smile. Blake sat down while realizing this was a date no wonder He sounded nervous on the phone. "So how's it going with Tadam? " He asked even though I bet He already knew. "Great." I lied " well I just thought as his friend I should get to know you better." He was getting nervous and Blake could tell. "Oh that's cool I guess." We talked and talked about how our life was and what we were planing do in collage. Other than that it was awkward. He wouldn't stop looking at me with THOSE eyes.

"So I better get going it's a little late. " I said trying to leave quickly. "I can take you home it's the least I can do for just calling you out here.'' He replied "are you sure? I can just call my mom to pick me up again." I insisted "no no I'll drop you no problem. " He insisted "OK" I whispered

When we arrived I thanked him and was about to get out when He said "wait I uhh have something to tell you." He shouted " and what is that., " Blake already knew what He was going to say. Before any thing He grabbed me and pressed his lips against mine then He was still near my face and said " I like you Blake Mason. " I pressed my lips against his trying to forget about Tadam. I leaned away from his face and left without a word.

The next day felt like a hangover for Blake she had no idea what happened until she received a text from Lucas.

Hey did you sleep well? I was just thinking what you wanted to do Today? I noticed you looked grumpy yesterday and I wanted to cheer you up. Bye babe.

Blake let out a mental scream. She didn't want him calling her babe "I don't know why I kissed him back," She whispered to herself. He's not her boyfriend why is He texting me in the morning only Tadam - her phone ringed  and this time it was Tadam. " Hey Blake I was wondering if you would like to go out today I know we haven't spoken in a while but I can't go on any longer. Please say yes."

He said " OK but can it be later I'm kinda tired. " she said to stall "uh sure how about 3:30 we could have lunch dress nice but not too nice." He laughed

"OK see you there. "I hung up I want to see him but Blake wants to know what happened with his ex and him after their dates,even though she had an idea.

Later on she decide to meet up with Lucas but not as a date but to clarify she can't return his feelings. I mean who just says I like you, like I barely know the guy I mean uhhg. She went to the waffle house again and He was there. " Hey Blake are you sure you don't want to go anywhere better. " He walled up to me and kissed me on the cheek unexpectedly. "Yeah about us are we you know together because I have a boyfriend now and I just don't feel that way about you. Your a nice guy And all and a nice kisser but I kissed you out of being hurt so." Blake knew He was hurt He looked at her with puppy eyes and walked back a step. "S-so your telling me that kiss meant nothing to you and Everything in the car was." He choked on his words "look I'm rea-" He cut her off with a kiss she tried pulling away but He was way strong for her. I was yanked back and Lucas was on the floor underneath someone. She couldn't figure out who. Lucas was being brutally beaten until she pulled him away.

"Tadam? " she asked shocked "don't Tadam me." He said grabbing her into the car. We sat quietly she could just by looking He was mad. "We don't talk for three weeks and you pick him as a boyfriend. What the hell were you thinking. " He said angrily " i-I he's not my boyfriend firstly. I couldn't ever date again you said we didn't break up and in my defense He forced that on me." I explained "then it was a complete coincidence that He was there?" He said gritting his teeth. "No I told him to meet me there because He thought we were dating. " I whispered "why the hell would He think your dating? " He asked even more angry "well He told me to come here yesterday and said He wanted to know me better since he's your best friend, we talked He drove me to my house...." I paused not wanting to tell him anymore. But He pushed "and that's not all right? and don't you dare lie to me." He raised his voice. I bit my lip and continued " h-he grabbed me and kissed me- " before she could finish He was out the car about to find him. I hopped out of the car and yelled " wait He said he liked me and I kissed him back." He froze look at me then kept walking in the waffle house Lucas was pressing ice this face.

Then Tadam grabbed his shirt and started punching him harder and harder. I couldn't stop him unless. I grabbed a bucket of water and ice and poured it on them He stopped to look at me with anger in his eyes He got up and went to his car and drove away.

As I ran to Lucas and saw his bleeding noes and busted lips and bruises. I quickly grabbed a rag and cleaned his cuts and his face. I began crying on his chest and repeating "it's all my fault I'm sorry."

I woke up on my bed I laid there with dried tears on my face. I keep thinking if only you said you love me.
