All that you do needs patience. Every ibadah, trials, or afflictions that may occur upon you needs patience.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Verily, the patience is at the first stroke of a calamity." (Narrated by Anas bin Malik, recorded in Sahih Bukhari 1283)
Life has full of challenges and trials ahead of us. We don't know what it will be but we should know how to deal with these. We should have tawakkul or trust in Allah the Almighty. Secondly is to have patience. And when we overcome it we should be thankful.
Patience is a very essential tool for us to overcome the trials and with good results at the end. We all just have to trust Allah that at the times like this we sought His help and guidance. And along the wait we need to have patience. Did you know that some of the duas we make are not granted but instead used by Allah to save us from an affliction that is bound to happen. Masha Allah, we don't know but Allah knows. He hears His servants' prayers and duas.
Other than that, patience is not only applicable on trials and afflictions but also at our ibadah or worship to Allah عز وجل . When we do our prayers some get tired some are not, and those who are not have patience with them. The sabr to worship Allah ﷻ will help us to get closer to Him and His pleasure.
Allah subhanahu wa taala said in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45
وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah ].
In Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155, Allah عز وجل said:
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
( I have chosen this topic because I have come to realize that we all just need patience in everything that we do.
Because in the Quran, Allah said:
"Indeed, Allah is with the patient")
