3- Last day

I wake up and I grab my phone seeing I'm still on FaceTime with Devyn and she's up doing her makeup I giggle at the face she's making as she puts it on "oh Sammy your up!" She smiles "yep" I stand up with my phone and I go to my closet and I pick out new clothes I put my phone face up and I change "oh Sammy could you ask your mom to make a note saying that you won't be in school for a whole month along with today?" "yeah sure but why today?" "oh Xepher and Kat planned a going away day for us so we're all not going in" "oh ok" I grab my phone again and I go and put my shoes on "is Griffin picking everyone up?" "yeah we're going out for breakfast I don't know where else after though" "ok sounds good" I head downstairs and I find my mom drinking a cup of coffee "oh good morning Sam" "morning mom, um could you tell the school I won't be in for a month along with today?" "yeah of course why aren't you going today?" "I'm going out with my friends for a going away thing we're gonna go for breakfast and do whatever else they planned" "oh ok you leave tommorow early in the morning right?" "yeah at 4 in the morning!" Devyn said through the phone "oh your on a call" my mom laughed a bit "yeah" I giggled "ok well have fun today" my mom smiled "ok thank you" I go back to my room and sit on my bed "oh Sammy I'll see you later Griffin just got here!" "Ok see you later bye!" I said and she ended the call.

I get in Griffin's car and sit in the back with Devyn and Kat we all greet each other and then Griffin drives off "so what are we doing today?" I ask "well we're going to the diner downtown and the rest is a surprise!" Kat says excitedly.
We get to the diner and we all get out and go inside sitting at a booth "hi what would you guys like?" The waiter asks and we all order our food and she leaves "I can't believe you guys are actually going to be gone for a whole month" Kat says a bit upset "yeah we'll miss you guys" Xepher said Griffin and Kat nodding in agreement "aw we'll miss you guys too" Devyn said we all talk about random things and then our food comes we thank the lady and we eat.

We all get back into the car and Griffin starts driving "so where are we going?" I ask "well we'll just look around the mall and shop for a bit then we'll do something fun" Xepher explained "what's this something fun thing" Devyn asks "you'll see" I groan and they laugh and we start talking and listing to music.
We get to the mall and we all just look around and getting some thing's that we like. It soon hits lunch time "who's up for lunch?" Griffin asks "me!" I giggle rubbing my stomach they laugh a bit and agree and we go back to the car putting our bags in the trunk. We eat lunch and then we get back in the car and Griffin starts driving and we listen to music singing stupidly "we're here!" Griffin said turning down the music "ooo bowling!" Devyn cheers excitedly and we all get out and get inside "sizes?" The man asks and we tell him our shoe sizes and he gives us them and we get the end lane we pick out our ball and we go to the table and we enter our names.
We get halfway through the round and so far Kat's winning "I'm thirsty, want anything?" I ask "a water please" Devyn says "pepsi" Kat says "mountain dew" Griffin says "a water too please" Xepher says "ok I'll be back" I hop off my chair and I go up to the bar thing "what do you need?" a lady asks "can I get three waters a pepsi and a mountain dew please" "of course" she smiles and she leaves and then comes back with them "here you are" "thank you" I smile and grab them and walk back to the table handing everyone their drinks and we continue our game and joke around.

After three games we decide it's time to leave we put our balls back on the rack and change into our normal shoes and we go up to the counter putting our shoes on them "have a great night!" The worker called waving to us as we leave "you too!" We call back. We get into the car and it's now night time "wanna stay at my house?" Xepher asks "yeah sure but I gotta get my suitcase" Devyn said "yeah same" I smile "alright sounds good" "movie night?" Kat questions and we all agree and we get to Devyn's house "open the trunk so I can get my bags please" she said getting out and Griffin opens it and she grabbed her things and then went inside. She came back putting her suitcase in the trunk and got back in the car and Griffin drove to my house. He parked in my drive way and he opened the trunk so I can grab my bags.

I get inside and I go upstairs to my room and I put the bags down I grab my traveling backpack and I put more things in it like my laptop and it's charger along with my phone charger and my toothbrush and toothpaste and some other clothes I just got from the mall. I grab my suitcase and head downstairs "oh hi Sam" "hi mom" she sees my suitcase and furrows her brows "where are you going?" "Oh I'm going to Xephers if that's ok" "yeah it's fine" I put my bags down and I hug her "I'll see you in a month" I say and pull away from the hug she smiles "be safe please" "I promise I will I always am" she hugs me again and I hug her back and she sniffles "mom don't cry I'll be back soon" "I know it's just, you've never been gone for so long especially far away" "I know but I'll be ok I promise I'll text you every night" she pulls away and wipe the tears that fell then there's a honk "I'll see you when I get back" I pick up my bags "love you mom" I smile and go to the door "love you too have fun" I smile and nod and leave closing the door Griffin honks again I giggle and I put my bags in the trunk and get in the car "took you long enough" "shut up" I giggle he starts the car and he drives to Xephers house.
