Laura's story ; The world is a cold dark place

Im laura and this is my story.

It is sometime during the year 1983 and we are at an unknown location somewhere off map .
The locations were all unknown to the authorities ..and well all I can say is that I'm pretty sure that my location is somewhere in the North-East . I'm sorry but you will have to figure out the exact location for yourselves, for If I were to tell you the exact location of where I am then that means that I may have to take several bullets through my head many times from he who I can't exactly mention .... then waiting for the winds to heal up ... but there is always the chance that it might not heal back up, sometimes I wish that they won't heal but they always do ....
Punishments are always given so called reasonably but they weren't reasonable they were slowly destroying us chipping away at us slowly. ..... anyway this is my story .... I am Laura also knows as 009.

No lies are included .. I tried to simplifying blocking out most of the violence here but It still includes some .... not that much though.. If you reach a point and are quite young then I suggest skipping a few lines to see if all of it has ended but if you want read at your own risk.

Everyone was gathered around a small tree stump with a little card on top ... addressed to me ..
It was a note which read

Location: Unknown,
'Please can you get the others and help me ... or if this doesn't make it to the right person then the someone out there please can you save me I've been injected with a powerful time injection , I am at lab no.71 East end , please send help ... fast I don't have long left to live since they injected me about twelve minutes ago , so that I will die unless I get it cut out but it would have to be taken out before it reaches my heart and if doesn't take long to do so as you would know
I have found out all of their secrets! But I can't say in this letter just in case a worker finds it or if pit doesn't reach the outside world.
I will soon have a bullet through my head to kill me faster when they get bored of my pain ....please help me ... I can share their secrets with you.

There wasn't a name of the person who wrote this , and I couldn't really remember anyone who I had come across who knew my real name.
The paper was full of bloody fingerprints and water marks so I'm guessing the person writing this must have been crying I'm not surprised I remember what if felt like the pain, that I felt they said they were in pain how I related oh so well.
I remember what it was like in one of those labs ... the pain I felt the experiences I had, the punishments were all so unreal.
No one must go through this again.

I handed the note back over to Ophelia and she read it again on my order so that everyone could hear.

" Are you alright going back to that place again ..Laura ?"
" I'm fine .."
" You don't have to if you don't want "
"She asked for my help"
"Yeah bu-"
" Are you trying to stop me from going ?"
"Of course not "
" That's what it pretty much sounds like "
" It's just "
" I'm the strongest here ... you need me to to go with you because this person needs our help "
" that's why we need you here "
"She asked for me if any of you have a problem with that then speak now and you won't be coming with me "
"Laura-"
" I'm going with you and that if my final statement on this case "
" ok then "
I grabbed my backpack and found some worn out shoes so I quickly taped the soles back on and started to walk back to meet the others I already knew that they would all be talking behind my back it's what I hated about them, no one in my life has ever been loyal.
They could sense that I was afraid they should also understand that the person asked for me, and that this is something that I just had to do either with or without their backing.
" Is everyone ready?"
" shouldn't we leave someone behind it's not safe to send everyone especially us ."
I felt several pairs of eyes staring at me.
" We are the strongest out of everyone .. the others have no powers .. we are the future of society .. we have to do this " My voice sounded strong as I had to put on a fake face and smile
" We can do this!"
" And if we fail?"
" We fail fighting."
" Is everyone in." I said putting my hand in the centre.
Hands all piled on top and then we broke .
" I will go first."
Ophelia said making sure she went first .
I stayed in the centre being surrounded by everyone else ... I had to be protected at all costs even if it meant they died ... I never liked this rule but Ophelia made it.
Everyone was staying hidden trying to get a good glance at what lay in our path.
Mostly everyone had stayed next to me but Ophelia decided that it would be best if she scouted ahead of us, I jogged slowly behind her with the others following. The reason that she went first is because she is the person who is the best at fighting she rarely uses her powers like the rest of us she learnt how to control them and how to hide them... but as for the rest we depend on our powers to live.
You see everyone here is different, we all have different skills, it's what make us unique.
Together us five were unstoppable. Unbeatable.
The others had escaped before me, I remained there longer with more security because something was wrong with me...
AnywayI have a sister but she wasn't joining us with this she was back at the base ... I have another sister but she comes in later ... as the story gets more clearer.
