A few blocks from where he was, Fu Cheng approached the cafe he was eyeing just as he entered the campus.

It embodied nature's persona and had a homey feel for the people inside it. There were browns and greens in the shop's decors with wooden tables and chairs that let out a scent of sandalwood with a mix of the coffee beans from the counter in the side. School facilities were uniform in color with different designs, the university also allowed business like this on the school grounds. Others were for leisure and the other half served as supply shops for any school materials.

The atmosphere was mellow and soft, jazz music was playing in the background which let Fu Cheng unconsciously relax. Since the original host was planning to start a cafe, he chose this as an opportunity to observe the surroundings and consider a few things before he continued with his plans.

The original Yuuki would have immediately gone home and just sent someone to pick up his books in order to avoid socializing but with his actions in line with his future plans, his current decision to stay in the small cafe wasn't out of character. Instead, it showcased his faint curiosity and a not-so-mild interest in the humble shop and his eagerness to create his own.

There were only two people behind the counter, both dressed in a warm yellow polo and white shorts ending a few inches above the knees. On top of that was a brown apron with a gold tag showing their names.

In the chalkboard above the station was the menu filled with cute doodles and the names of the beverages and food as well as the prices. The counter was in an "L" shape, the shorter side had a small tray and lighting prop that would show you the orders displayed to give opportunities to customers to take pictures.

Yuuki went up to the counter and was greeted with the amiable smile of the worker. Offering a cute smile, she asked "Hello customer! What can I do for you?"
Her voice was reserved but jolly making the corner of his lips quirk up.

"Can I have a fruit tart and a milkshake?"
Fu Cheng loved strawberries, in his last life, his older brother's wife had the hobby of baking and he had the chance to taste all her creations; the strawberry fruit cake being one of his favorites.
(A/N: yes, I also love strawberries(*¯︶¯*) )

"Right away! Is it your first time here on campus?" While they conversed she was preparing his shake and the other person with them was baking the fruit tart.

"Yes. It's my first year here, you?"
The girl behind the counter looked quite young, shining obsidian eyes and cute peach lips accentuated by her pearly white teeth.

"It's just a part-time job! My sister studies in the next city so we moved here."
Her voice was devoid of any caution and full of naivety which bothered Fu Cheng quite a bit.

"Is that so?", he made a sound of acknowledgment, "Take these words as advice, don't reveal important information to a stranger you just met even if it's for the purpose of answering a question."

"Hehe, sir your jokes are a little extreme. Besides! Security in V Uni is top notch~Nothing will happen to me here even if I do reveal a little bit of information!"

"Ah...Please take by heart the saying, 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. "

Part-timer, "......" Are you hinting at how you have bad intentions then !?!?

After a short moment to recover, she told him the bill, albeit a little flustered, and Fu Cheng paid for it.

With a small smile and a nod of respect, Fu Cheng picked a seat near the window basking in the afternoon light. He sat down and began reading through the pamphlet handed to him. The poor part-timer could only blush in embarrassment while making his drink.

A few minutes later, the male barista walked to him with a tray containing his tart and milkshake. He began, "I'm sorry about Atsuko, she tends to be overly friendly at times. Please don't take it to heart, she's a nice kid with good intentions." He had a solemn expression as he spoke, his tone was straightforward and he silently retreated right after.

Fu Cheng removed his attention from the waiter and began his conversation with the system while he ate his pastry and shake.

'This cafe is alright, however, it would better suit my taste if it was also a library on a higher floor.'

[The agent's foresight is good. Please continue to work hard.]

Before Fu Cheng could reply, he heard a mechanical beep.

[System warning!! Male Lead is approaching 50 meters away!! Get Ready to intersect in 00:59!]
