Anusha's pov:

Tae texted me that I need to go to morning work because Jungkook and he went to visit Jungkook's cousin's brother. Hence I woke up late.

Next week mom had a doctor's appointment. I had to remind her before going to college.

"Mom!" I called her as I approached the kitchen. She hummed in agreement. She was busy in her kitchen.

"Mom! I am reminding you one week before. Next week you have an appointment. So ask leave to your doctor in advance. Don't give me some reasons at the last minute." I informed.

"Done!" She shouted from the kitchen.

I sat on a dining chair. I took the plate and put some Upma on my plate and started to eat like there was no tomorrow because I have no time to eat slowly.

I was not the busiest person in the world. But I could say I am the Biggest Tidsoptimistic in the world.

"I don't know when will you learn to wake up early and get ready on time. Look! now you are eating like a pig." Mom taunted me.

I rose to see. My mom was looking at me with a disgusting look on her face.

I finished my eating and hung my bag on my shoulder. I made my way towards her. She was giving sickening looks towards me. I placed a kiss on her cheeks.

"Yep! I am a pig, oink oink." I poke fun at her.

She started to laugh at my silliness.

"Do you want to hear a joke about a Pig? Our doctor told me one yesterday." My mom asked enthusiastically.

"Alert Anu! run before she starts her Lame, joke." My brain warned me. But it was too late.

"What do you get if you cross a pig with a dinosaur!?" She asked with excitement.

She and her doctor's Lame jokes. I couldn't stand them.  I rolled my eyes.

"Mom! please. I don't have any fcking idea about your dod jokes." I let out dryly.

"It's so easy silly. Jurassic pork." she started to laugh.

Honestly! I didn't know in which way she found that Lame joke as funny??

I was standing with a poker face.

"If you're done. I will go." I said. I was looking at her with my so-done expression.

"Anu! I bet you will love this joke." She started another joke.

No way! in the world, I had the patience and interest to hear those Lame jokes.

I looked at my phone. I was getting late.

"Mom! Bye. I am getting late." I said goodbye to my mom before she started her new joke.

I ran towards the bus stop like people run when they are cheesed by street dogs.

Thank god! our driver came 5minutes late. Maybe he received through telepathy that l would be late today sorry! EVERYDAY.

I took my apron out and walked towards the Chemistry lab.

"Hey, there." I turned my right side to see. Jackson was standing next to me. He was wearing a pastel pink with a red strawberry printed shirt and skinny blue jeans.

"Hey, good morning," I smiled back at him.

"Today we have filtration. You didn't forget to bring Whatman filter paper, did you?"
