Anusha's POV:

After I spoke with Jungkook, I entered the kitchen. I was amazed when looking around, for the kitchen had a black and white combination theme. A white marble countertop lying in the center of the room looking incredibly neat and elegant welcomed me, and there was a fruit bowl placed at the center with glasses arranged in a row with a jug of water. Black wooden stools were placed below the countertop, and a huge black single oven gas stove was mounted at the center of the kitchen connected to its island.

I opened the white cabinets beside the stove, all required utensils were organized with an apron and gloves, and everything was clean as a whistle. There was an oven, full-height refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker... the kitchen was filled with every required thing.

I took out an apron and started to cook without wasting any time.

After 20 minutes:

I arranged the table with plates, chopsticks, etc., hoping they would like my cooking. Today I'd prepared Gyeran Mari(Korean egg roll") and some egg fried rice.

I made gyeran marki because they are Korean; I thought, I could impress them! While preparing this after a long time it reminds my old days, when I learned to make Gyeran Mari for the first time by Eomma. (mother in Korean) How he was teasing me when I used to burn the egg rolls on initial days!! I choose to ignore them before they dragged me to my old memories where it makes me both happy and sad at the same time.

"Ahh!! The smell of food makes my mouth water, I can't wait to taste it!" I rose to see Taehyung approaching the counter with a smile on his face.

"I hope you like them. If you find anything wrong, please make sure to tell me so that I can modify my cooking," I instructed him.

"I know I will...." Taehyung interjected.

"Don't worry, I'll examine everything and will make sure to find every minor thing and tell you. You know I'm great at criticism, right?" Jungkook came to the counter with a smirk on his face. His one hand was stuffed inside his one pocket.

"I am most appreciative and honored, Mr. Jeon Jungkook," I sarcastically retorted.

"I am so happy to hear those words from you. I appreciate you, Miss Cook," Jungkook replied jokingly, and I shot a glare at him.

Both of them took their seats and I sat across from them. Tae was wearing a grey full sleeves t-shirt matched with black sweatpants, and Jungkook was dressed in all black. He wore black sweatpants and a black hoodie, making me believe he was obsessed with black since he wore it most of the time.

Dark-minded people like dark colors.

Taehyung busied himself by examining the dishes I'd prepared.

"Wow! You know how to make Gyeran Mari(Korean egg roll)?" Tae asked in surprise. His eyes were shining and he was smiling like a little child with happiness.

"Yeah, I know how," I responded.

"You are Indian and you were raised in America, but you know how to make a Korean dish?" Jungkook asked me, his eyebrows raised in question.

"Why not? I love EXO, and they were eating this in one video. I wanted to eat that too, so I learned through youtube. You both are Korean, right, so I made this for you," I somehow managed to explain to them.

"It looks delicious and mouthwatering! You are so good at cooking, Anu!" Tae praised me.

He took one roll and ate. He was smiling and enjoying my cook.

"The perfection of the rolls tells me that there is another story behind this, but it's okay. I'll suspend my disbelief for now," Jungkook observed, wagging an eyebrow.
