Anusha's Pov;

Already, 2 weeks have passed since I am working as a cook.

Like normal, Tae drops me at the college after I made them breakfast. I refused to let him help.

Does he listen to me!? Of course, there's no way in hell.

He compelled me. That's why every day, he took me with him to college.

He is a Gentleman. And I am feeling happy when I am with him. I don't know what this feeling is called!?

My stream of feelings was inhibited by a loud voice from the kitchen. The owner of the voice is my mom. She was yelling from the kitchen. I was occupied by my bed.

My bed is like my first BFF.

Tae gave me a day off due to the weekend. But I refused to take it. Finally!! after all arguments. I took a half-day leave.

"Anu, can you come here for a sec. For heaven's sake!! How many times do you have to call you hah?" My mom shouted from the kitchen for the hundredth time in just 2minutes. She would not have stopped if I didn't show up.

"I am coming. Stop screeching before you rip off your own throat." I screamed back.

I hopped off the bed to see my one and only impatient lady. She was cooking something in the kitchen.  I went to her tiptoed without making any noise and hugged her from the back.

She didn't flinch for a second. My excitement dropped to the ground. My prank flopped. I was still hugging her.

"Ma!! why didn't you get surprised by my sudden hug?" I asked her in a sad tone.

"Why should I have to get surprised by that!? I knew, who would hug me other than my chotu?" She turned around to come face to face with me. My hands were still relaxing on her waist.

"Still you have to pretend that you got surprised." I pouted.

"I think you are in a good mood today aren't you?" She pinched my nose.

"Yes, I am in a very good mood without a reason." I smiled at her.

"After so many days. I am seeing your genuine smile." she was caressing my head. I rested my head on her shoulder.

"Chotu, I have to talk to you about something. I think this is the best time to talk about that topic," she said in a serious tone. I rose to see her. She looked like she was collecting her thoughts which she was thought to represent to me.

"Don't talk about anything nonsense and ruin my mood, mom." I pouted.

"Anu, unnie (older sister in Korean) called me yesterday." She said looking into my eyes.

That's it. Those words were enough to vanish my all happiness.

My hands dropped from her waist. I stood abruptly. I was about to walk off. She stopped me by holding my wrist. I kept my head down without any expression.

"Stop running off Anu. You already ran so far. Still, it's tailing you. It will tail until you face it and overcome it.  Stop being stubborn. Fight these problems and your anxiety. Face them." she let out angrily.

She made me see her face to face. I glued my eyes to the ground.

Everything that happened on that day was going like a flash of light in my head. It made me rise a darker hollow in my heart which was hidden inside my deep heart. That darkness had spread throughout my body. I couldn't think straight. Already my legs were weakening. my heart started to ache by the lost pain.
