Nezuko's P.O.V

We headed to Mt Natagumo, like our crows commanded us to.

Tocho yelled at them again.

Honestly, at this point, the crows are more scared of him than Zenitsu is of demons.

And that's a massive comparison.

We reached the mountain, there was a forest ahead.

"So, what? Do we just go in?" Tocho asked, hands behind his head, strolling along like it was no big deal.

"Go in the forest?! Full of demons?! Do you want to die?!" Zenitsu screamed.

"If you're so confident about dying, why don't you go in first!" Tocho grabbed him by the front of his shirt and threw him into the forest.

Suddenly, another slayer stumbled out of the forest, croaking out, "Help me..." Before getting drawn back into the forest.

Was that a string?

"Uh... Was throwing him in there a good idea?" Erika asked from behind me.

I hesitated, "Well, I mean, he's strong, he can take care of himself, right?"

Tocho sighed, "Not with his cowardice, he can't. Come on. No more need to die than necessary."

He rushed in, looking for Zenitsu.

I looked around at the others, Erika had already drawn her sword.

It was a pretty sword, with a lightning blue blade and a wristguard in the shape of what seems like a thousand tiny lightning bolts connected to a ring.

I sighed, "Well, let's go."

I ran in, Tanjiro still on my back, Inosuke and Erika following close behind.

We found Tocho and Zenitsu fairly quickly, Zenitsu was yelling and screaming about how he didn't like the sounds that this place makes.

"Zenitsu, shut the fuck up if you don't want the demons to come and kill you." Tocho hissed.

That immediately shut him up.

I sighed, "So what can we do? There were a lot of dead bodies on our way here, and it looks like they're all demon slayers."

Tocho thought about the situation.

"Do you know how those demon slayers died?"

I recounted what we saw, "Disturbingly, some of the demon slayers looked like they were killed with a sword. Others had their necks and bones fractured."

Tocho pondered that for a minute, then tensed.

"Hold on, everybody check if there's string or web on you!"

I checked myself, and spotted some spiders on my sleeve.

I shook them off and crushed them under my shoe.

"Well, that's that, then. The spiders are attaching strings on you for a demon somewhere out there to control you like a puppet. The demon slayers were used as puppets, some killed each other, others were overworked to death."

How the heck did he figure that out so quickly?

"How did you figure that out so quickly?" Erika voiced my thoughts.

"Takes a demon to know a demon." Inosuke muttered under his breath.

Tocho sighed, "You're half right, as a demon, I can recognize the blood demon arts of other demons, but that analysis was all me."
