A Swimmer

Y/N's POV.

I sat on the the medical berth as Ratchet stood at the computer. I already knew what I had and it scared me. I stared down at my hands as I heard someone enter the bay. I didn't look up, I thought I might start throwing up if I moved to much. I then saw Soundwave lay her hand on mine, I slowly looked at her she didn't have her mask on "How you feeling?" she asked me gently as everyone came in. I tried to speak it hurt like hell but I didn't care "Soundwave..." I could barely hear myself.

I coughed up a bit more energon onto myself "Easy sister, just calm ur breathing." I nod slowly as I look at the others "Have.." I didn't even have to finish "No I haven't told them." I then lay down as I felt my head spinning. "Haven't told us what?" Star asked, I hold Soundwaves hand as I calmed my breathing "The reason why she's been throwing up her guts, her body is trying to help her." she said.

"It's a rare occurrence." Soundwave explained "There's a way to help her right?." I coughed as I took in a deep breath, I heard LifeSaber sigh "I'm afraid not Stardust, the pup is the reason to the sickness. Soundwave what did u sense when you smelled her energon?" Saber asked.

"It was mainly poison, besides meaning the pup has venom, it must of accidentally injected it into Y/N's systems.." I look at her "But the only.... predacons that had... venom like that." I said as I looked at them both "Is a swimmer." LifeSaber said in shock as she realized what I was saying "But there hasn't been a swimmer since the beginning of the predacon race." Soundwave stated.

"What are ya all talking about?" I heard Triple Flip ask "It's a deadly predacon that had vary powerful venom, one bite is enough to kill five full grow predacons." Soundwave explained as she looked at me "And a lot of the predacons that carried them, didn't live through the birthing." she added in a sad tone. The team stared in shock as they looked at me "What do you mean 'didn't live?" I heard Optimus ask "Uselessly the poison kills the carrier off." Saber said in a regretful tone.

"There has to be something we can do?" Spitfire asked as she stepped forward "Trust me, if I could I would of did something about it already." Soundwave said with a sigh "The only thing we can do is wait and hope for the best for both her and the pup." she explained. After they explained what they could everyone left so I could try an rest.

"Y/N" I look over to see Optimus sitting beside me, I smile up at him "I'm sorry-" "You don't need to apologize for something out of your control." he said as he held my face. I sigh as I hold his hand "I don't like thinking about it but it needs to be said." I said tiredly Optimus waited for me to continue, I sigh "If I don't make it through this, the only thing I ask is that you watch over our pups." Optimus frowned slightly at what I said "Y/N-"

 "Optimus please say you'll take care of them." I begged slightly as he sighed "Of course I will." I smiled as I laid my head back down. He stayed by my side until I fell asleep.
