Destiny (A Sonnet)

For often I walk in the pouring rain
Yet I run and play in the shining sun
It washes away the sadness and pain
For what terrible thing have I become?

I try to change all of my selfish ways
Though everything had to pay a great price
The one that's lonely for all of his days
Should be the one to roll all of the dice

The lonely one holds the burden of life
I hold the key to the big golden gate
The shadow one holds the long sharpened scythe
We all hold the key to some other fate

We all have the choice for our own way
All you need to do is do watch what you say
