~Tia's P.O.V~
I decided to go back to the hotel and change from my Premiere clothes. I put on some high waisted light blue jeans, a mustard color turtleneck shirt, with some thigh high flat heeled boots, and a black peacoat. I came out my room and Tupac was standing with different attire as well. He had on a black turtleneck with black jeans.
"Why is it that when people see two people of the opposite gender together, they automatically think they're together or messing around?" I asked Tupac. When we actually spoke to each other for more than five minutes on New Years day I straight up told him I not looking for a partner or someone to sleep with. He was a bit offended, but was happy that I was up front about it.
"I can't be hypocritical because I be thinking the same thing, when I see two people of the opposite gender together." He shrugged, "That's just the way it is... Yo, you know that was Jodeci right?"
"What the heck is a Jodeci?"
"They a music band! It's four of them. Yo ass must be living under a rock?"
"I don't really listen to new school music and you know that. I'm getting more into it though." I told him shrugging.
"They been hitting on the radio since last year though, they get hella radio play."
"Mmm," I shrugged my shoulder, not really caring.
"You sure YOU wanna go to that party? People finna act a fool, especially me. Plus, I know you gon' be sitting or standing in the corner ALONE after about ten minutes." We left and made our way to the elevator.
"What kinda of person would I be to not go? Again, I was part of production. Also, it's a good way to market. There WILL be other black writers and producers there. When I feel like leaving I will do just that," I said in a "duhhh" tone.
The elevator stopped on a couple floors, letting people in and out. The elevator stopped on another floor, and GUESS WHO shows up!? That racist white bitch from New Years. That's what I know the dude that caught me, he was with her that day. As soon as she walked in she looked at Tupac seductively. He saw and his eyes shifted to me, letting me know he noticed. Then it was just us and the racist bitch in the elevator after some other people stepped off. She stepped from the other side of the elevator to come closer to us.
"Aren't you that rapper guy from TV?" She asked him.
"Something like that..." Tupac trailed.
