~Elijah's P.O.V~
"Is your head good?" DeVanté asked Tia as we all sat in her room with her as she lied down on the bed.
"It hurts a little but it's because I've been around loud people ALL day." Tia chuckled.
"I know she not talking about me," I said aloud.
"Nigga, you one of the MAIN ones that can't seem to talk low," DeVanté emphasized.
"Boy, hush." I chuckled.
"Nigga, don't tell me that. Over here sounding like somebody's grandma at church." DeVanté said laughing.
"Anywho, so I got some tea that knew about but was confirmed today..." I trailed off while rubbing my hands together.
"Juicy," Courtney added.
We all looked between DeVanté and Darius as I cleared my throat.
"What?" Darius questioned with a confused look.
"They want us to leave so they can gossip. Women... Oh, and Elijah." DeVanté stood up. "Bye." He said once he opened the door.
"Thanks, Don." Tia smiled. Thanks for what?
"You're welcome." He replied walking out with Darius walking out behind him.
"Why can't I stay?" Darius asked me.
"Because I said so, now bye!" I told him then he closed the door.
I turned my head back around. "Anywho... What you thanking the man for? What'd he do?"
"Elijah, can you get to the story?" Tia said changing the subject.
"While you and yo beau were hanging out this morning, Elijah came into my room an-"
I cut Courtney off. "Girl, let me tell the story," I said to Tia.
"I don't give a crap who tells the story. Just get it out." Tia told us.
"A'ight! Chill." I gestured with my hands.
"I'm chill. Go ahead." Tia sighed already over it.
"Damn, girl. We not the ones who made you mad."
"Elijah, get on with the story PLEASE." Tia chuckled but it was more of an annoyed chuckle than an amused one. "I'm not even mad I just want you to stop changing the subject."
"So this mornin'..." I trailed off with a smirk.
"Hurry the hell up before I tell it!" Courtney yelled at me.
"Okay. So what happened was I left the room because I was hungry this morning. Tia, you know because I saw you and DeVanté sitting at the back outside of the boat. Watching the sunrise and shit." I teased.
