14. cupcakes..

It's been a week since the last time I've talk to Marco.

Almost every night I didn't sleep because everytime I close my eyes, all I can see is his face, his smile.

I longed to feel his touch, his kisses, his body heat.

I missed his voice, his smell.

I missed him caressing my hair before i sleep.

I missed everything about him.

But I had to let go.

His upcoming wedding is somehow all over the news.

And it pains me knowing he is getting married somehow to another woman.

My brother stays for about 2 weeks bago siya bumalik nang New York for his scheduled surgeries.

Since he punched that wall outside my room,need niyang magpagaling muna nang sugat.

While his patient/friend still stays here in my place.

At ayoko man ay mapilit si kuya.

Pareho kasi kaming dalawa na matigas ang ulo. Ipipilit kahit pinagbabawal.

He will always see to it that it will happen. Even his being a doctor, ay ayaw ni dad.

But he loves the lab,the blood,the operating room and saving people's lives.

And he will always be a saviour for us.
And I admire his profession.
And I admire him for being kind.

Kakatawag lang niya reminding me to eat and don't skip my vitamins.

Wala akong nagawa kundi sundin siya.
Dahil ang kaibigan niya ay may lahi ding reporter.
At alam kong lahat nang galaw ko ay kinukuwento niya kay kuya.

I was at the pool now soaking my feet.
Wala ako sa mood maligo but this helps me relaxed and helps relieves stressed.

When suddenly Manang Fe came and handed me some snacks.

"Señorita,snacks po sabi ni Sir Chris.." Aya niya sa akin.

I just nodded my head and doesn't even glance at the food.

But the smell of it makes me look at the thing inside the wooden tray.

I was shocked to see some succulents inside.

But the plants is inviting me to taste it.

It was mocha and cheese flavored succulent cupcakes..

I was a bit hesitant to try but Manang took some and put it in my hand.

I even glance at the kitchen area.

Maybe this was ordered from pastry shops around here.

I tasted it and it feels heaven. Yummy!

"Masarap!.." Sabi ko at napangiti naman si Manang sa akin.

Nagpaalam siyang pupunta nang palengke at tinanong ang gusto ko.

I asked for some green mangoes and then she left.

I already finished my orange juice when I feel like drinking another glass again.

So I went to the kitchen and bring the food there.

I'll just continue eating the remaining cupcakes inside.

But I was surprised to see the man I don't wish to see.

He is busy holding a pastry bag while wearing a polka dot apron,he is the one designing the cupcakes with succulents.
