Jason P.O.V.

I roll out from under the bed. "What kind of answers?"

In response, Piper holds up a smashed video camera. My hopes plummet.

"Answers? You call that answers?" I explode.

Piper sighs. "We have concrete proof that Leo was spying on us."

"Yeah, smashed proof." I say.

"He was smart, smashing the camera when we noticed him. But, proof is proof." Piper explains.

"Yeah, okay." I say. "So... About Operation Diary?"

"Operation Diary sounds stupid. Let's call it Operation Breakup." Piper smirks, daring me to challenge her.

"Breakup could refer to any couple." I argue.

"And Diary doesn't? It sounds even more vague." Piper counters.

"Fine, Operation Breakup it is!" I throw my hands up. Every leader has to know when to strategically retreat, so that the other side think they've won, and then BAM, you attack them.

"Okay. Finally." Piper says as she turns towards the door. "Coming?"

"Where to?" I ask, bored.

Piper pretends to think. "There's two laptops at camp. One, Annabeth's. Two, in Chiron's office. That's the best option."

I nod. Taking Annabeth's laptop? Too risky. "But I thought she lost her laptop in Tartarus?"

"Yeah." Piper nods. "But, dummy, it's easier to work with a laptop than without. Of course she got another one. Not as impressive as Daedalus's, but still."

I nod. That makes sense. "So, let's go. But you're in guard duty."

Piper sighs. "Let me tell you what to do, at least."

We walk over to the Big House. As we're walking, Piper tells me the names of three really messy fonts that I should alternate to make it seem like real handwriting. She also tells me to print everything in a dark grey color, not black, to make it seem like pencil marks. She is smart.

When we get to the Big House, Piper stands outside the door, tapping her foot, and I go in. I know where Chiron's office in.

I push the squeaky door open. Luckily, Chiron isn't there. He's probably teaching archery.

I head over to the computer and do everything like Piper said. And I admit, the results are pretty stunning. I grab some blank paper to put at the back of the diary. Perfect. Now all I need to do is bind this thing.

As I'm about to leave, something catches my eye. It's a wall with a bunch of photos of demigods. Probably Chiron's favorites.

I search for a photo of me and Piper, or at least one of the Argo II, but come up empty handed. I sigh as I leave the office.

As I'm turning past the doorframe, something catches my eye, again. I go back to the wall, and see-

Well, well, well. What do you know? I see not one, but two pictures of Percy and Annabeth. What would Piper say? Oh yeah, Percabeth.

One picture is when they're young, probably twelve or so. They don't seem to like each other, judging by their body language. I mean, they're standing apart, arms crossed, and kinda not-so-subtly glaring at each other. Despite that, they're both smiling, and look like they're having fun.

The second picture was taken recently. They're wrapped in each other's arms, oblivious to the world around them, even thought they're both looking at the camera. They seem so- just so in love, that for a second I wonder if Piper is the right one for me, and if I should even be doing this.

No. No. They're liars and cheaters. I'm doing the right thing. And of course Piper's the right one for me, she's a daughter of Aphrodite for Hades's sake.

I head out of the office with a clear head, and a clear plan.
