Steven sat on the couch, still contemplating what the symbols could have possibly meant from the Peridot Workshop. And who was the person in the cloak? "Alright, if we move that pin there, then... They're not anyone who was with me when I saw them, so no Garnet, Amethyst, or Pearl. It wasn't short, so not Connie or Peridot. They looked bulky, so not Lapis, or almost every gem I know. then that means they were a Quartz. Then that means... Jasper might be back." Steven freaked out at this possibility, she was one of his biggest threats. He needed to go on another Gem Hunt. He picked up his phone, and called Connie.
Beep Boop time skip
Steven looked at the people he had gathered. "Alright, Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, Connie, Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth. I gathered you all here because Jasper could possibly be back, and stronger than ever before. If they were the one snooping around in the lab, they could have anything to defeat us.
Pearl slightly freaked out at this. "Wh- stronger?! If she's stronger, then that means she'll be harder to track. And the fights with her will do way more damage to us!" Amethyst managed to calm bird mom down. "Woah, woah, steady. If we beat her before, we can beat her again. Don't worry."
Lapis and Peridot both hopped on the warp where the rest of the crew already was. They teleported to the closest possible locations she could be next to the lab. They checked mountains, forests, gem structures, human structures, cities, towns, villages, ancient constructions, it they found nothing relating to Jasper, but they did find notes, left behind by a... unknown gem. They were short, and cryptic, like "A and C temperature changer found: bringing back to ship for repairs." This might be the gem they were looking for... no, no. It has to be Jasper.
After hours, they finally found a place where Jasper had to be. A gem ship docking area. It wasn't too far, and is possibly where Jasper warped to, based on the warp pad there. There was only one ship: A ship that was white with green accents. It was shaped like a dome, with antennas at the top. It started to take off, and Lapis, Steven and Peridot managed to latch on. "You're not going anywhere, Jasper!" Lapis shouted, climbing onto the ship. Steven and Peridot shortly followed suit, climbing on board. They looked at the person driving the ship, it wasn't Jasper... "Wait- if it isn't Jasper, who is it?" Steven said, somewhat surprised. "What the- WHO ARE YOU, WHY ARE YOU ON MY SHIP?!" The figure turned around, to reveal a white gem with green and brown accents.
