The questionable dream you had last night keeps bugging you from the moment you woke up, throughout the duration of the day. To you, it was kinda weird if you put it, but not in a bad way.

Still, you can't wrap up in your head what that sudden change was supposed to mean, though you were sure of one thing...

You can't get off Koushi's beautiful picture out of your mind.

His unexpected vague appearance might be confusing you a lot, but you keep convincing yourself that it's just a dream. It's probably just a one-time occurrence, so why are you making it such a big deal?

Something light hitting the back of your head brought you back to the present time, away from your interminable train of thoughts.

You look down on the floor to see the thing that were thrown over your direction, finding a poorly crafted paper plane with a bold and all caps message that says 'SLUT LOSER' written in it.

The gaudy giggles at the row on your left side confirmed your suspicion that it's just another deed of your certain bitchy classmates, who seemed to always get a sick satisfaction on seeing other's distress.

Knowing that barking back at them wouldn't benefit you anything good, you just ignored the two and focus on Mrs. Kyoshi's lesson instead, trying to understand the complication of the subject she's discussing.

The further she spout explanatory words and occasionally writing on the blackboard, the faster the time flies until the final school bell finally rang.

You laggardly pack your supplies inside your bag, not really looking forward to go home while neglecting the loud idle chatter of your classmates around.

As you rose up and drape the bag's strap across your shoulder, you halted on taking another step when you found a pale hand holding a familiar pen, reaching out to you.

"Here." Jiyo spoke with her usual nonchalant tone, blowing her gum that reeks a fresh peppermint scent as it didn't take long to pop afterwards. "Thanks."

It's really nothing much, but knowing her rather never-changing pungent 'I-don't-give-a-fuck-about-your-life' attitude, hearing her thanking you is indeed, kind of a pretty big surprise.

"Oh, u-umm... y-you're welcome?" you gave a mindless dumb response that sounds more like a question, and slowly reach for the pen you lend her yesterday. She just simply replied with a small curt nod before walking out of the room, not even saying another word.

'Woah. Today is full of surprises... I guess.' you concluded mentally, shaking your head to shortly get rid of that thought.

Moving on from the odd interaction you had with Jiyo, you made your way towards the corridor, shrinking behind the walls to avoid the most crowded areas.

For the past few minutes, you travel on foot in silence 'til you finally arrive to your so-called home. Changing your shoes, you quietly proceed inside the poorly-conditioned residence.

You poke your head on the living room's doorway to see that your dad is watching some news flash on your old television, seated on sofa with a ceramic mug in his hand, which you assumed that is yet another alcoholic beverage he had stored in the fridge.

Not wanting to disturb his indulged self, you tip-toed towards the end of the hall, minimizing your sounds as possible in fear of the tendency that he might be in a bad mood right now, since you know that getting himself drunk was his way to cope with his problems.
