Upon waking up and opening your eyes, you found yourself smiling ever so softly to no one in particular, staring up at the dimness of your room's plain ceiling.

'That was... a very pleasant dream.' you conclude in your mind, still in your own little world of reverie and having mini flashbacks.

The unexpected couple of harsh knocks broke you out from your state of deliration.

Door swinging open, your mom's familiar H/C tresses poke from the door way, squinting her eyes to adjust on the darkness of your room that were only faintly lit by the light pooling from the hallway.

"Oh..." both her eyebrows perked up when she noticed that you're already awake. "Get up now, Y/N. You still have a school to go to today."

After telling you her reminder using a very non-caring flat tone, she close the door again as you hear her footsteps disappear down the hall, towards the living room.

Her listless voice that didn't held an ounce of concern for your being, sure does discourage you there, but you didn't let it entirely demote your whole good mood.

You shook your head and sit up on your bed, throwing the covers off your lower-half. You pull up yourself up, slipping your bare feet onto your soft, home slippers.

Stretching out your strained limbs, you plastered a smile on your face as you exit your room, thinking of your recent dream to maintain your positivity.

'This will be a great day!'

You sat on your usual assigned seat in class, your chin resting on top of your palm while humming softly, thoughts ample about Koushi as his mellow voice kept replaying in your brain.

On the very front, Mrs. Kyoshi were preoccupied on scribbling important pointers at the blackboard with a piece of chalk.

Jiyo who sat ahead of you, stole a brief glance on the teacher's back. When she's sure that Mrs. Kyoshi wouldn't face the class any time soon, she turn her body on your way.

"Hey, L/N." she called out to you in a low volume, not really intending to risk the measly chance of getting caught at all.

Hearing her soft voice, you paused on jotting down the essential notes on your notebook that the current page were filled half-way, you look up at her. "Oh, h-hey..."

"You seemed so happy today." she bluntly blurted and pointed a finger to your face she had been studying for a while. "That smile never left your lips even once. It's weird. You got yourself a boyfriend or somethin'?"

Her random, curt assumption brought a meager hue of redness throughout your cheeks. Eyes widening by bit, you shyly shook your head. "N-no, I d-don't have a boyfriend."

'A-am I really that obvious? Oh my goodness, it's s-so embarrassing!'

She just snorted, narrowing her beautiful stone grey eyes at you, clearly not believing it. "Whatever you say." Jiyo face in front again. "Just wanna say you are really blooming when you're happy."

The small amount of blush you had deepened more. Thoroughly abashed, you decided to just stick your attention back on taking notes, trying to tone down your emotions by doing so.

When the final bell of the day finally chime to indicate the afterschool, you almost instantly jolt up from your seat out of excitement and shove your things inside your bag.
