Three Long Months Later
Audri's POV
Things were pretty all right around here. I turned 20 and I finally got on good terms with Janine. We weren't on a mother daughter level yet, but we made progress. Yes, I said yet. I had been getting to know Auriella and David Jr. It wasn't so bad having some extra siblings.
I hadn't seen Justin since he left. He was all over the place so we only talked maybe four times a week. We FaceTimed a few times since he left and I felt like I was in a catfish type of relationship. The only thing that kept me together was me going to visit him in two weeks.
If you're wondering, I was still at home with my dad. Judah finally moved out and got back with Leah(thank God). I spend most of my time with Judith, Sierra, and Leah. Sometimes Auriella hung out with us too. It was a little awkward especially when Tristen came over while she was there.
Speaking of Tristen, we had been hanging out too even though Judah moved out. Get your mind out of the gutter. We were just friends, although he did try to take it there again.
A Week Later
Only a week left until I would see Justin!!! I'd only be there for a week because I had to come back to Georgia for Thanksgiving. It wasn't my decision, my dad made me feel guilty for missing family time.
It was the weekend and I planned to hangout with Judah, Tristen, and Leah. We were all going over to Judah's place so I waited for Tristen to pick me up.
I sat by the door looking at the time on my phone, it was 1:15. Tristen is always late so I wasn't expecting much. He was probably going to impatiently blow his horn once he arrived.
I decided to take a little nap, but as soon as I closed my eyesI heard the doorbell ring. Our doorbell never rang. Normally people just let themselves in. I got up and tripped over my shoes. Shit. When I got to the door, I looked through the peephole and to my surprise it was Tristen. I opened the door and gave him a confused look.
"Ready?" he asked.
"Are you sick?" He chuckled and stuck out his arm for me to take. "Let me grab my shoes." When I returned, we headed out the door. As we walked up to the car, he went to my side and opened the door for me. "Thank you?" I muttered.
We had been driving for about fifteen minutes and I didn't recognize any of the scenery. "Where are you going?" I asked. "This is not the way to Judah's apartment."
"I know," he replied. "I thought we'd grab lunch before we go."
"Thank you, but we can't. Please turn around," I pleaded.
"I already set up the picnic."
My eyes widened, "Tristen, no!"
"Come on, what's it going to hurt for you to have lunch with your friend."
"I don't know if you know this, but Justin Bieber is my boyfriend. The media would love to see something like this and blow it out of proportion. I don't need more problems with Justin," I declared.
"More problems?" he asked.
"You know what I mean."
He pulled the car over and we were next to a pond. "There's no one here, you're safe." He got out of the car and opened my door. I stepped out as he walked around to the trunk to grab a basket. Then we walked to our destination. When we arrived, he pulled out a blanket and laid it on the grass. After we sat down, he started to unpack the basket. I was completely terrified because I knew that all of it was a bad plan. He placed a Reuben on my plate.
