Chapter 31

Sofia's POV
They started skating around the rink while I was waiting for Miles to arrive. Ugh where is he?

"Hey Sofia!" Miles called out as he came running over.

"What took you so long?" I asked.

"Something caught up" he said while trying to catch he's breath.

"Well faster change in to your skates, I'll be waiting for you there" I said as I point over to a conner of the rink.

He nodded and started putting on he's skates. I walk into the rink and skate towards the conner where I just showed Miles. While I was warming up, two figures skate towards me while holding hands.

"Hey Sofia" Hugo said

"Oh uh hey Hugo" I said "Oh and you too Khole" I look at her while she gave me a smile.

"How have you been doing lately?" she asked.

"Fine I guess" I said. "So what's the reason that brought you two to come and talk to me"

"Sofia what happen to you?" Hugo asked.

What happen to me? If you remember everything maybe you will know what happen to me.

"Nothing" I said in a cold tone.

He look at me with a worried eyes since the memory he have now it's just me being a best friend to him. I miss the way how he look towards me everytime.

"Well, we'll leave you alone now" Hugo said as he grab Khole hands and skate towards the middle of the rink.

"Sofia a little help here" Miles said while trying to balance.

"You don't know how to skate?" I asked while I skate towards him.

"Of course I don't, I never skate in my entire life until now" He said while holding my hand trying to balance.

"If you can't skate why did you volunteer to be my partner?" I asked.

"I'll do anything for you Sofia... This recital means a lot to you.." he said while looking into my eyes.

Yeah... It was totally important to me when Hugo was my partner.

"Uh...." I said.

"Well don't need to thank me, we're friends after all" Miles said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

I didn't want to thank you. I don't really want to dance if Hugo isn't my partner. And then flashback started going through my mind.

Hugo slap Khole's hand off mine annoyingly and furiously "Don't touch her"

" Sofy, I'll try to make things right again " Hugo said as he held my hand.

I miss him... I want him back so badly...

"Sofia are you ready to practice?" Hugo said.

"H-hugo?..." I said as I look at the figure.

"Hugo? I'm not Hugo" the figure said.

"Huh" I said while looking around and  saw Miles standing in front of me.

"Sofia are you ok?"

"Yea yea I'm totally fine"

"So are you ready to practice?"

"You don't even know how to balance let's start from the basic" I said "Well you better learn quick our recital is in two weeks"

"Sure, I'll try"

I started to teach Miles how to balance starting by holding the railings. While I was teaching I saw Hugo holding Khole like how we use to practice together in the olden days. Those days were amazing.

"Sofia your spacing out again, are you sure your ok?"

"Yes I told you I'm fine"

We continue particing while I tried to help Miles with he's basic.

Time skip
After practice
I changed into my heels and garb my things and went off to the gate. I got in to the coach while someone was standing beside the coach.

"Uh Hugo what are you doing?" I asked.

"Right" he said "Well I'm taking the coach with you"

"W-what ?"

"Yup our family are having dinner together tonight"

"Oh.." I said "Get in"

He smiled and he took a seat beside me. I can feel that my heart  pounding like crazy even though he doesn't remember anything . We started talking about sports and some school stuff before arriving at Enchancia. Once we arrive I step out of the coach before Hugo.

"Hey why are you in a rush?" he asked.

"I have something to do, go on first"

"Umm okay"

I started walking quickly to Mr. Cedric tower since he's the only person can help me with the spell.

"Mr. Cedric" I called out while knocking on the door.

The door slowly open and revealed Mr. Cedric himself.

"Ahh, Princess Sofia what brings you to my workshop?" He said while letting me in.

"Well do you know how to break off a love spell?"

"A love spell?"

"Yes, can you please help me?"

"Of course I can" he sail as he pull out some spell book from the bookshelf.

"It must be in here somewhere" he said while flipping the pages quickly.
I pick up a book and started flipping the pages aswell.

"Ah ha ! I found it!" he said.

"Really?"

"Yes!" he said "Now let's see...."

"To break a love spell, only their true love could break it, jf it is strong enough. Find the right day and it only happen once a year, be sure to kiss him in front of the person he's on a spell on"

"True love..." I said

"Be sure to kiss him in front of the person he's on a spell on" Mr Cedric said.

"I have to kiss him? So it's a true love kiss..." I said while thinking about our love.. is it strong enough?

"What does this mean?" I said as I point to the sentence as I read it out loud "Find the right day and it only happen once a year"

What does this mean? I'm confuse... Will I ever solve it? To save H-hugo...
