Sofia's POV
After I finished changing, I went to the family room where everyone are waiting.
"Okay, everyone is here now." Dad said
"What's so important daddy?" Amber asked in curiosity.
"Our kingdom is hosting a ball next week" Dad said.
"What? Another ball? Is it very important?" James questioned.
" Yes, it is James. We are celebrating our Kingdom's 1000 years anniversary" Mom said.
"Omg I can't wait!" Amber exclaimed.
"Of course you can't wait." I said with a joking tone.
Amber then looked at me with a 'you're coming with me' face. I just laughed and nodded towards her.
While dad finished talking, it was already time for dinner.
"Your Majesties, dinner is ready to be served." Baileywick said.
We shared our recent events with each other as laughter and smiles filled the dining room.
After dinner, me and Amber got up and left. On our way to our room....
Amber suddenly had an idea." Oh, Sofia!"
I looked at her with a questionable expression all over my face. She continued in excitement,
"Why don't we have a sleepover in your room?"
"Since we haven't had a sleepover for a long time... Sure, I love that idea!" I chuckled.
"Great! I'll go change and I'll meet you in your room," Amber said excitedly while walking back to her room.
I went to my room and change into my blue night gown and go on with my daily skin care routine. After I'm done, Amber was already in my room, lying on my bed.
"So what are we gonna talk about?" I asked, getting on to the bed as well.
Amber just look at me and wiggled her eye brown.
"Let's talk about you." she said
A confuse expression was plastered on to my face "What about me?"
"Who's your crush?" She asked, rasing an eyebrow. Amber is invested in this topic.
" Me?" I said nervously.
She was looking at me waiting for me to give an answer.
"Promise me you won't tell anyone." I said looking at her. She nodded her head.
" Okay... So I had a crush on Hugo during our Ic-" before I could finish my sentence Amber cut in.
"WAIT HUGO?!"
"..... Yes" I replied while my eyes scanned towards the door, praying no one was near it.
"Omggg!!!! I knew it!" Amber said in excitement.
Suddenly, James appeared and said "Did someone mentioned Hugo?!"
"Sofia has a crush on Hugo!" Amber said excitedly.
"Really?!" James said in shocked tone.
"AMBER YOU PROMISED!" I shouted.
"I'm sorry Sofia but this is just too exciting!" exclaimed Amber.
James walked up to us and then sat on my bed. "I want to know more." He said while looking at me with a smirk.
"Okay... Fine. Promise that both of you won't tell anyone?" I said while glaring at Amber, who had just exposed my secret after promising.
"Oh, Sofia I promised, it just accidentally slipped," Amber said. James just kept nodding as I just shrugged it off.
"So...I started to have crush on Hugo during our ice dancing practice" I murmured, "He never gave up on teaching me the fireball flip. He even taught me the quadruple fireball flip. From then on he's been even nicer to me. He even considered me as a best friend. I didn't want to ruin our friendship, so I never told him how I felt..."
" Oh, Sofia. I believe he likes you back," Amber exclaimed. I return an unsure expression back to Amber.
"During your ice skating recital, everyone could tell that Hugo likes you. The way he looks at you was different compared to the way he looks at others." Amber said.
" Well I don't know.. We haven't seen each other for like...3 years now" I said.
Even though we met at some balls, he was always busy greeting people with his family. He barely had any time to notice me, let alone talk to me.
"I don't think he likes me now"
"Maybe there are other princesses that Hugo like in his school?" I said with disappointment.
"But the point is that you still like him right?" James questioned me.
"...... Yes I still like him......even till now." I said calmly.
"Well cheer up Sof! Maybe you can talk to him next week." James said.
Amber nodded her head in agreement and I just smiled at them.
"Since James is joining us... Why don't you go next?" Amber said, nudging him to go on.
"Me? About what?" James asked becaude he really wasn't notify on what the topic was.
"Who's your crush?" I said with a playful tone.
"I don't really have one. " James said confidently.
"Oh really?" Amber said raising her eyebrow.
"What about Vivian?" Amber continue while looking at her nails.
James didn't said a word which I could clearly say that this is a silent confirmation.
"Huh, so I guess he does have a crush on Viv." I chuckled.
James groaned, "Yes, I do have a crush on her."
"Aha!" Amber exclaimed.
"Well enough of me what about you Amber?" James said.
"Wait aren't you gonna tell us your story." Amber frowned.
"Maybe another time" James said.
"Fine, I guess it's my turn now" Amber said.
"Well, I had a crush on.... Desmond." Amber said while looking at us nervously. "Can't believe that I would fall for a bookworm right?"
"Woah, Amber." I said in shocked. James was shocked too.
"Let me guess, did you catch feelings when we were doing our enchanted science project for the science fair? " I said, wiggling my eyebrow.
"Its not when, its after. " Amber corrected me.
"Well I can say that Desmond looks charming when he is focus on doing something." James said and I nodded in agreement. Amber agreed with us too. We bursted out laughing.
Soon later, we fall asleep without us knowing.
