I looked up to see an older looking man, "D-do you need anything?" I asked, my voice stuttering.
"These parts of the woods are closed off, you should know. You look old enough to understand this stuff." He told me.
I nodded, "I'm terribly sorry sir. I just was a bit lost, that's all."
"Explains why you were walking so fast, doesn't it?" He said sarcastically.
"I-I thought there was a bear over there." Wow. Typical Kaitlyn. Like that's believable.
The man starred at me before slightly nodding, "Uh huh... Well you should probably get out of here before you get in a lot of trouble."
I nodded and started back towards my house, trying to think of a plan. I looked back and the man was gone.
I quietly went a bit more into the woods, further this time so nobody could find me.
I sat against a different tree. Gosh I was tired. I decided to shut my eyes for a little bit.
I wake up confused. I'm still in the woods by the same tree, but something doesn't feel right. I slowly get up and slowly and carefully walk towards the direction of my house, assuming it's been long enough and only hoping I'm welcome again. But before you know it, I've been walking for an hour. Where was I? I was lost for real this time.
