Chapter 8

  Lucy's POV

"Keith it's me, Lucy."

"Lu bear? You're still alive?"

"Come on, you taught me well."

"Of course i did, where are you staying now? Are you even still in America?"

"I am, no money to leave the country"

"Same as always then?"

"Same as always. I want us to meet up; i have something very important to talk to you about but don't let the others find out."

"Of course, i'm my own boss. Where and when?"

I'm of duty tomorrow so that has to do.

"Tomorrow, at the coffee shop near your building by let's say 12 noon, how does that sound?"

"Fine with me, see you tomorrow."

"See you."

I ended the call, got up from the couch and went to look for a good hiding place for the watch so Bett won't see it.

I hid it and went to the sitting room to watch TV. After a while of watching boring movies i decided to clean the house to appease Betty to feed me for the week, until i steal again or get my salary, but i'm not betting on that option.

I cleaned the kitchen, the sitting room and the bathroom. When i was done i was exhausted, i drank a glass cold milk and took another shower cause i was sweaty.

By the time i was done, Betty was back. I walked into the kitchen to find her cooking.

"Hey."

"Hey, i'm sorry you didn't get to do your interview" she said coming to hug me. I was shocked, i'm not gonna lie, but i hugged her back with all my might.

"Thanks, but i'm kinda broke now so, you'll have to feed me for like the next one week or so" i said sheepishly.

"I knew it, that was what why you cleaned right? You never clean."

"Okay you make me sound dirty, i do clean but anyway yh, it was, so what do you say?"

"Do i really have a choice?"

"No not really."

"Okay then, get ready, dinner will be ready soon."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, i love you." I skipped out of the kitchen and went to my room to change to my pajamas since it was already late.

"Lucy, dinner is ready; your plate is in the kitchen."

"I'm coming, i'm almost done."

When i was done, i walked into the kitchen to get my food then i joined her in the sitting room. She already put in a movie so i set my plate down and went to get water for the both of us.

"What you watching?" i asked coming to sit beside her.

"A new movie that came out, from Blum house so it must be interesting."

"Name?"

"Fantasy Island."

"Sound interesting." i said settling in my seat.

"It's starting" she said turning up the volume.

Half way through the movie which was epic by the way, Bett started shouting at the characters.

"You know they can't hear you right?"

"Well i have to try, can't they see that the girl is a two faced lying bi**h? They are too trusting"
