Lucy's POV

Recap,

I woke up like 30 minutes later and i decided to text Keith to meet to fill him on what went down.

I texted him to meet me for lunch at a restaurant close by, it was already 1:45 and i was starving. I know i ate not to long ago but sue me.

I wasn't getting any sleep this night, sleeping during the day with my condition was a bad idea. Curse you Jayson Wood.

I got up and got dressed, picked my purse and my phone and left my room.

I walked to the door and picked my keys. Locking the door behind me i began my walk.

------

I got to the restaurant not to far from Bett's house. I walked in and took a seat not too close but not too far from the door.

A few minutes later, Keith walked in and spotted me. He walked towards me and i got up and gave him a hug.

"Good to see you made it out alive" he said and sat down opposite me.

"I'm a survivor, they don't call me die hard for nothing" i said with a sly grin.

"Nobody calls you that" he had a confused look on his face.

"I watched it in a movie a while ago and i like the sound of it, so from now on, you'll call me 'die hard' got it?"

"Yes ma'am, so... spill the tea."

"I was at work..."

"Oh i forgot you have to work now, haha" he interrupted me laughing.

"When i noticed someone was following me..." i ignored him and continued the story.

"This is starting to sound like a horror movie."

"Do you want the tea or not?"

"Go on, i'm listening."

So i proceeded to tell him what happened leaving nothing out.

"Dude, you led him on to us, why would you say 'When you have something to base your assumptions on,' you basically just encouraged him to snoop around."

"I know, i know, i was high on the moment, it just came out." i dropped my head on the table and let out a deep sigh.

"Just expect to be stalked for now till we figure out what to do."

"Okay...where the hell is the food at?" we ordered a while ago when i was telling him the story and it was taking forever to get here.

"I know right, i'm eating it this time" he gave me an 'i know what you did last summer' but in this case 'i know what you did with my food last time' look.

"Okay, okay, it's not like i stole it or something, you knew i wasn't going to let it go to waste, that's just wrong" i gave him a sheepish look.

"Well, everyone knows you like food so, i'm not really surprised."

I just stared at him and continued picking at the chirp on the table. A few moments later, our food arrived.

"There must be something about the watch cause i'm sure he is capable of replacing it but he is so hung up on this particular watch, why?" i was curious why he wasn't letting it go.

"Maybe it was a gift or something like that."

"People lose gifts all the time, maybe it's not the gift, maybe it's the person that gave him the gift" i just had a eureka moment.
