Lucy's POV

What is he saying? I rode an elevator to get here and I never said I forgot anything about what happened.

"I rode an elevator to..."

"I mean my elevator" he interrupted me. He had a point though and it would be suspicious if I didn't play along. It was just an elevator; there was no reason for me to be defensive.

"Sure, whatever lead the way." I got up and picked my bag.

"There is no need for you to take that, it'll only be a minute" he said gesturing to my bag.

Oh, that was his plan, he wants to search my bag when I'm not here, not wise at all.

"Where I go, it goes." I pointed to the door.

"Very well then" he walked out of the office and I followed him. We made our way to his elevator.

He pressed the button and he entered, I entered too and the door closed behind us.

Jayson's POV

She held her bag and pointed to the door.

"Very well then" I walked out and led her to my elevator, there should still be like two minutes before 12:15.

I walked into the elevator and she entered behind me. I need to get out of here now.

"I forgot my phone, I'll be back in a minute" I actually did forget my phone.

I pressed the button but it didn't open, I pressed it again and nothing changed. Shit, I checked the time on my watch and it was 12:15.

The one time these guys do something right and I'm stuck.

Fuck, déjà vu much.

I'm stuck in my elevator again with her for two hours and I'm not with my phone.

Great, just great.

The least I can do now is make her confess.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"I don't know the door won't open."

"Here, let me try." I made room for her to get to the door.

She tried it severally but it didn't work

"Oh, God, don't tell me I'm stuck here again with you."

She started hyperventilating and I almost punched myself for making her go through this again.

I held her and let her cry on my chest.

"It's okay, we'll be out really soon, they should have noticed it stopped working, its okay" for the weeks I watched her, I haven't seen her cry and knowing that I caused this was really uncomfortable and wicked of me.

She stopped crying after a while then we both sat down.

"Can I have your phone so I could call them since you know I forgot mine?"

"Sure, why didn't I think of that?" she reached into her hand bag and pulled out her phone. Now I'm thankful she didn't leave her bag behind like I suggested.

"No no no no no, don't please don't" she started hitting her phone and I was confused.

"What happened?" I asked, trying to take the phone from her.

"It's dead" she said and dropped the phone back into her bag.

You probably shouldn't have stayed up all night texting that boy. I kept quiet and contemplated how i was going to approach the matter of my watch.
