Lucy's POV

I had to leave the house early cause we had to get dressed with the bride. The wedding starts by 2:00 pm so I had to leave before  10:00 am.

It was currently 9:45 and i'm about to leave the apartment. I walked out of my room and met Jay in the kitchen making breakfast.

He was going to meet me at the wedding so he was still dressed in only pajamas bottom.

"Hy."

"Hey babe, did you sleep well?"

"Not really but I'll survive." He came to stand in front of me and held my hands.

"It's going to be okay, i'm right here beside you."

"I know; thanks. By the way, i'm still sorry about your watch."

"Let the god damn watch go, its okay."

"Okay."

"Now come and eat the delicious pancakes i made you."

We ate breakfast together and at one point i knew i had to leave the house but i was just delaying the inevitable.

Five minutes to ten i walked out of the apartment with my dress and accessories in a bag.

Jay offered the drove me off but i was saving the big guns for later. Okay, I'll explain that; i wanted him to be a surprise, i want to hide him and delay showing him off until they did not expect, like a jack-in-the-box.

So i rode the bus to the hotel they were getting ready at. I got down and entered the building, i showed the people at the lobby my pass that was sent with the dress and they took me to their dressing room.

I thanked the lady and walked into the room.

You know in those movies that the actresses or singers or dancers get ready behind the stage? Like those dressing rooms that everyone had a space on the very long table with mirrors and lots of light for each person? That was what i walked into.

But imagine that with loud snobby rich people, Perfect. Your face should be like mine right now.

"Lucy, hey, you're right on time, the ladies in wardrobe are getting ready in the room next to ours, everything you'll need is on your table and your name is on the mirror."

"Hey, thanks, I'll go there now." I didn't remember her name so i practically ran out of the room.

I knocked and opened the door to room i was directed to and i saw familiar faces.

"Hey, ladies, looking good."

They greeted me randomly and i found my mirror easily enough but the problem was i had no idea how to put on make up.

"Hmm, guys, i have no idea what to do."

"Me neither but don't worry, we have stylists and make up artists coming in in five minutes."

That is solved then, i dropped my bag on the floor beside me, sat down and brought out the necklace, earrings and rings Jay bought for me.

Soon enough we heard a knock and different people walked in until every one of us had two people standing behind them.

One of them, the make up artist i presume turned our chairs around and mine greeted me. I replied and they turned us back.

I was confused; you turned us just to greet us or what? I asked the guy and he said they wanted to see our faces fully without all the bright lights. Makes sense.

So we began the make up.

*

The stylist just let go of my hair after like an hour of pulling and washing and all that jazz.

They told us not to look in the mirror so i haven't seen my self for two and a half hours.

But she was done and so where the other stylists.

"Okay ladies, we will leave you now to get dress, please help yourselves with that and try not to ruin the hair and make up, once you are done getting dressed knock on the door and we will be back for the final touches."

One of the stylists said and they all piled out leaving the seven girls and i to face the battle of putting on our dresses.

"Okay we are eight in total so you are in the same group with the next person beside you. Help yourselves and like they said, try not to ruin anything." They liked my idea the last time so i gave another.

"Perfect." The lady beside me said.

We still haven't seen ourselves in the mirror yet, the stylist's orders. So i brought out my gown and the lady beside me whose name i forgot brought out hers too.

I peeped at her mirror and saw her name, Lexi; i'll try not to forget next time.

We spent thirty minutes helping each other wear our dresses leaving us with one hour to the wedding.

When we were done, we knocked like we were told to and they piled back in.

"Looking gorgeous ladies, please bring out any other accessories you have and we will help you put them on."

I already brought out mine so i waited for the others to bring out theirs.

The stylist turned our chairs around and put on our ear rings and those of us that had nose rings, and then they put on our rings and shoes.

They turned us around and put on us the last thing; our necklace.

"Okay, we are done, turn their chairs around so they won't peep at the mirror, we will be waiting outside, come when you are ready and take a look at yourself in the big double mirrors outside."

They turned us around again and piled out. I thanked my assistants before they left and stood up immediately the room was cleared.

"Should we go together or one at a time?" i asked no one in particular.

"I think we should go together, since the mirror is big enough for the eight of us and we have only forty five for pictures before we have to leave."

Everyone seemed okay with the idea so we stuffed our purses with our phones, lip gloss, tissue and all those lady stuffs and i don't mean tampons or anything like that.

I kept my keys and wipes in my purse and i was good to go.

"Okay ladies, let's move out." I said like in the military.

We walked out and we stood in front of the mirror not far from our room.
