This is a really short update and it's more like a filler chapter.
Also, I might not able to update more than once in the upcoming two weeks because of my exams.

"Yuck." I yell through the pillow.
The noises of the movie night going on in the other room makes it impossible to sleep. I wish I had never helped Mikey.
Frustrated, exasperated, tired and angry, I scoot towards Ana's room and roar at the top of my voice,"You guys are creating noise pollution. People aren't able to sleep. Do them a favour. Have some mercy."
I return to my bed before any reply touches my ears. The intensity of the awful noise goes down a tad as darkness engulfs me in an embrace.

I wake up to the delicious redolence of pancakes that swirls all the way from the kitchen. I quickly get ready and step in to see Mikey sitting on the counter with a bowl of cereal and Ana busy with pancakes.
"Hey!" Mikey waves.
"Hi."
"Did you sleep well last night?" he asks teasingly.
"Oh yeah! A little too well."
He bursts into laughter and Ana chuckles, making me grin.
"Pancakes?" Ana offers.
"With a dollop of butter and maple syrup please."
"Coming right up." She salutes. "Here. Enjoy."
"Thanks... Hmm. This is really good." I hum in appreciation when the sweetness of the first bite touches my taste buds.
"Emma, Ana and I have made arrangements to ensure your peaceful sleep." Mikey says as a matter-of-fact.
"Oh. Please enlighten me." I ask lifting my head a bit from the plate of oh-so-delicious pancakes.
"We have planned a vacation."
'Okay. That's some surprise.'
"Really? Where to?" I enquire.
"Spain."
"Where exactly?" I press.
"Formentera."
"Whoa..." I sing-song. "Playa de ses Illetes."
"Yeah... Something like that." Mikey tries to shrug it off.
"Rose-tinted beach and romance. Nice."
Ana blushes a deep crimson and I burst into laughter.
"When?"
"Today."
"What?" My voice rises up. "Come again... What time?"
"Six in the evening."
I take a moment to digest and then reply,"Okay. Cool. Do you guys want me to take the second-half off?"
"No. We will be fine. We have already packed almost everything. Just take care till we come back."
"And when are you guys coming back?"
"After two weeks."
My eyebrows arch as a reflex. "That's a long time. Anyway, you need a break. So, go and enjoy thoroughly." I pass a wink to the duo.
"And also allow you to sleep tight." Ana chimes in.
"Yeah. That too." I sigh dramatically.
"Okay. I gotta go." I bid my goodbyes and leave for work.
Like it's said 'DUTY CALLS.'
