"Is she ok?" I hear a voice ask.

I feel like my head has been hit fifty times against a wall. My eyes flutter open to see I'm lying on a bed and with a few people around me. I shake my head and sit up slightly. My head spinning slightly.

"Wh...What's going on?" I ask dazed.

I sit up a little more with my back against the wall and hold my head.

"Oh thank god you're awake!" Cecilia exclaims happily.

She hugs me for a second before letting go.

"Charlie. What happened to you? Cecilia told us that you fainted when you were running." Miss Mathison asks.

I look at her confused and shake my head. Fainting?

"I...I don't know but I don't remember fai-"

I'm cut off when Cecilia clicks her fingers and I see a small flash of silver light. Huh...?

"Should we call your parents, Charlie?" Mr Windsor asks me, changing the subject.

"Wait? Didn't you just ask me why I fain-" I'm cut off again by Cecilia.

"I really think Charlie needs some rest after the fall. Is it ok if I stay with her?" Cecilia asks, rather urgently.

"Ok. I think that would be best." Miss Mathison says.

The teachers walk out the room leaving me with Cecilia. We both stare at each other for a few seconds and I fiddle with my hair, not knowing what to say.

"You sure you're ok?" Cecilia finally asks me.

"Trust me I'm fine. I can go back out now."

I get up and go to open the door.

"No, wait, Charlie do-"

I pull on the handle but the door doesn't move an inch. I look it it confused and try again, but it still doesn't move.

"What the?"

I press my leg against the door and pull even harder but it stays closed! Annoyed, I turn to Cecilia.

"Help me get this door open." I ask, annoyed.

Cecilia shakes her head.

"Listen I need to talk to you about this."

As she finishes her sentence she pulls out the amulet I had found in the temple. When did she manage to get that?

"Charlie, please listen to me. This is very important." Cecilia tells me.

I can tell she's being serious, but she also looks kind of scared. I stare at her for a few seconds then sit down at the edge of the bed.

"Fine. Just please tell me what happened." I ask.

Cecilia sighs.

"Look...they don't remember anything about the temple or seeing the phoenix so please don't mention it to them, second...oh boy here comes the fun part...I'm not from...here." Cecilia starts

She turns away and takes a deep breath.

"What do you mean by that?" I ask her slightly unsure.

She turns to me.

"I'm from...a different planet, as in, a different universe entirely."

Cecilia looks at her feet, clearly embarrassed by this.

"And...?" I ask curiously.

Cecilia looks up at me and tilts her head to the side.

"Wait, you're not laughing at me? You're not even shocked?"
