An Unhealthy Addiction (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 12

Malfoy had his arm around my shoulder as he normally did when we walked to the great hall for breakfast. But this time, no one knew it but in 3 months we would be getting ready to be married and that we were both excited to do it. I walked into the great hall and gasped when I looked over at the Gryffindor table to see none other than my very own Harry Potter. I shrugged Dracos arm off. I felt him tense up next to me when he realized that Potter was here. Suddenly all eyes were on me wondering what I would do, stay with Draco or go to Harry. I breathed deep when Harry saw me, he looked confused but then just looked relieved to see me. He stood up and looked at me. I put on a smile and ran to him, jumping into his arms.

"I missed you," he breathed into my hair. I missed his cologne and always messed up hair. The one thing that left me completely lost, was that Harry still held a place in my heart. I still had feelings for him. He put me down in stared into my eyes, he then lifted me up again and kissed me. I smiled and kissed him back. I was truly happy he was back until I sat down next to Harry and noticed the whole Slytherin lot staring at me. 

"Harry we really should talk, you've been away for so long," I needed to get him alone so I could end it. Although I knew when I did break it off, I would break off the only part of me clinging to my wholesome side. He shrugged and nodded. I took his hand and we walked outside.

"Y/N I know I've been gone awhile and I know this had to be rough on you. Which is obviously why you were hanging around Malfoy and his blokes," I bit my tongue, preventing myself from sticking up for my friends "but while I was gone I realized how much you meant to me and how much I missed you and wished you were there. That's when I realized I wanted you to be there forever, I wanted to be there for you forever," he knelt on one knee and pulled out a gold ring with a pearl in the middle "Y/N Fireblood, will you marry me," my eyes felt like they would burst out of my brain.

"Give me one week to decide. I'm not gonna let you off that easy for leaving me for so long," he laughed and I knew he thought I would say yes. And part of me wanted to. "You can keep the ring for when I say yes," I gave him a kiss and walked into the great hall. Then I walked to the Slytherin table to hang out with my new and improved friend group. I noticed that Draco wasn't there but didn't really take any mind to it.

"Ew, I thought you were going to break up with him," Zambini looked disgusted.

"Gimme a break, I was putting on a show," I giggled.

"Well, have you broken up with the bloke?" Crabbe asked as he shoved a handful of food into his mouth.

"Potter, well he. I need to talk to Draco, any idea where he is?" I wouldn't tell anyone until Draco knew.

"Oh he said he was going to get his books early," Zambini replied. I nodded and got up y to go find him. I walked into the common room and up the stairs, right before I walked into the room I heard voices.

"Don't worry alright, she means nothing to me. As long as you love me I would never marry her," I opened the door just a little to see what was happening. They were too caught up in the moment to notice me. It was Draco holding Pansys head in his hand and smiling at her.

"I do Dracie I do,"

"She's only for show you know how it is," she nodded vigorously. I realized with a sick feeling that this girl they were talking about was me. I forced myself to keep watching.

"You won't marry her will you?" She puffed out her lips looking at him.

"Of course not. I will only ever love you Pansy. And soon you will be on my arm, we can share this room, and I can bring you everywhere, just give me a month. Potter won't propose. She told me her own family doesn't even love her. No one ever will," my heart popped in my chest. Tears were fighting at my eyes. Malfoy leaned down and kissed her.
