The rest of the break was almost a dream. Draco and I slipped back into our old habits, making fun of each other, cuddling at night, being a coldhearted team against anyone coming up against us, and helping me with outfits. Except this time we were stronger than ever, we had been friends, enemies, and together, so now, with all those bonded together, our passionate feelings expanded past what either of us thought was possible of our range. For Christmas Draco got me a necklace with a simple silver chain that fell across my collar bones, there were diamond hanging letters, gently separated by maybe an inch of chain, the word was Malfoy. It was not only a way of showing me off that I was his, the name Malfoy had become a running joke after one morning where I had been sorting through his clothes because I was cold and didn't have a sweatshirt. I found a green quidditch one, with the name Malfoy across the back. He smiled from the edge of his bed and watched me tug it over a green cropped tank top.

"You are going to steal everything from me aren't you. First my heart and now all of my t-shirts and sweatshirts are starting to disappear," He smirked at me and I walked over to him, pushing him down to lay down on the bed, then I crawled over him and put my face close to his.

"Well you know I like your last name," He raised one eyebrow, urging me to go on. "Could I steal that too?" His face got very serious and he quickly rolled over. Switching our positions so that he was leaning over me, his warm breath filled with the smell of mint, his cologne intoxicating me.

"That could be arranged," He broke his act and we started to crack up. Laughing at our flirtatious behavior that had become one of our favorite activities. As two powerful people, seeing who would break under the heat of each other was forever interesting.

I wore the necklace everywhere. We decided that when everyone came back we would wait a week, keeping our relationship a secret, then reveal it to the public, we both knew even a small amount of affection would cause drama which was good, because naturally thats how we both liked it. After that we would tell our parents.

The week went slow, us not being able to talk until we have reached the safety of our rooms, but it was worth it. The day had come, it was a Friday morning. Meaning everybody was up and at breakfast. I'm not sure why but Friday morning breakfasts always brought a rush of people. We weren't going to do something too big, just large enough. Draco was sitting at breakfast, he was an early riser and liked to eat early. He was looking bored, picking up a green apple and taking a bite out of it. He saw me and his eyes lit up just a tad, I smiled and walked over to the table. Draco kept looking forwards, pretending to be interested in Crabbe and Goyles stories from their break. I leaned over his head and kissed him. He held my head in his hands, and I could feel the smile playing on his lips. The whole room had gone silent, a few gasps could even be heard. I pulled away and sat next to him, looking at all the faces that were gawking at us.

"Good morning," I broke the silence of the hall, giving the signal that the show was over, and it was time for the drama and the press to enter our personal lives.

"So, when were you planning on telling us," Blaise watched us, an amused grin on his face. I was happy he approved.

"Didn't we just," I smiled at him, to which he shook his head. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned to see Harry Potter standing there, his face red with anger.

"OF COURSE IT WAS MALFOY. IS THAT WHY YOU BROKE UP WITH ME? CAUSE YOU FELT BAD CHEATING ON ME WITH THIS BITCH? MERLIN YOU IGNORANT WHORE," He paused for a second, I felt Draco tense up next to me, putting his hand on his wand. I flashed a look at him telling him that I got this one.

"Potter, I dumped you because I didn't love you anymore. It had nothing to do with Draco," I sneered at him. Harry's hand gravitated towards his wand, I mirrored him and did the same. He seemed to think better of it and with a final glare at Draco and I, stalked off back to Gryffindor.
