I was chewing on my gimbap when Mark speaks from beside me "you should put your leg down while eating, it's disrespectful" he tries to demonstrate his words when I slap his hand away
"shut up you're not asian"
We were at his house and I must say he's the perfect man to get when you're a die hard gold digger, a gold doorknob, shining walls, squeaky floors, and a freaking tibettan mastiff

He clears his throat and changes the subject "after your graduation, your mom and my dad decided to move back to canada, will you come with us?" he suddenly asks making me grip tightly unto my chopsticks
I turned my back over the contract

"Jimin...." I breathe out "I can't leave him alone, he needs me." I hear the man from beside me huff loudly that had a tone of irritation before grabbing my plate of gimbap away from me and to his front
"He came late, he just apologized. what the hell is with that man for you to be so blind" he pinches my shoulder painfully "I've been your friend for a while now and" he hissed "I know when you're upset and mad"
"And I knew that you only felt those two when he hugged you" I feel my lips tremble as tears gather at the corner of my eyes, I use my wrist to cover my face "I worked so hard, I don't even know why I chose him over my dream"
"if it weren't for him, I would have been holding a mic sooner or later" I grunt and sob out louder while shaking my head "why did he have to come between what I want!"
"Because" I see him eating my food "partially, love isn't perfect. it hurts and scars you but you just have to find the right person to share all the sufferings"
"Love is when you're missing your teeth but you're not afraid to smile. because you know he will still love you even though some of you is missing" he reaches out to wipe my tears himself
"So don't cry, you're a strong and independent person." he then pulls me in for a warm hug which I accept full heartedly "thank you for understanding."
"You just need to find that peace of mind inside of you" he says and pulls away from me, he gives me back my plate of gimbap which I happily take "I'll just stay here then"
"You got an answer already?"
I chuckle "I can't bring the contract back and so, I think I'll stay with the reason in why I got hurt this much, I'll stay with Jimin"
