-Y/N's Pov-

I would say that getting up in the morning and planning to be productive is a great motivation to get up and get ready. That's what I was planning to do this morning when my alarm went off at 7 AM, I had a little more energy than I usually did when I woke up in the mornings but that was because I had plans to go have lunch with Coco, leader of team CFVY, in Vale. I know that it was still way too early to be getting ready but I wanted to pick out the perfect outfit for the occasion.

When I finally decided to get out of bed, 10 minutes after my alarm went off, I went into the bathroom to get ready and as soon as I turned on the light I screamed my head off. Right on the mirror was a giant spider, you see I have arachnophobia meaning I have a fear of spiders, and what made it worse was when the spider jumped to the door that I had my back against. I ran to the other side of the bathroom as I watched the spider that was now on the doorknob just staring at me and of course, I left my scroll on my nightstand.

What I didn't know was that someone heard my scream when I first encountered the spider.

-Coco's Pov-

I was walking through the halls on my way back to my door from morning training when I heard a scream coming from one of the rooms down the hall. Immediately, I ran in the direction of the scream thinking that someone was in danger and needed help, knowing that it was still early and not a lot of people would be up at this time. It was hard to tell which room the scream came from since I was not at that end of the hallway yet. Then I remembered that Y/N's dorm room is one of these so I decided to call her scroll and after a few rings, nothing, I knew that she usually gets up around this time which is about 8 AM so I began to worry.

After finding her dorm, I knocked on the door only to get no answer so I tried calling out to her.

Coco: Hey Y/N, are you up yet?

Still no reply so I began to worry and I called her scroll again and listened for the ring, I heard the ring inside the room meaning that the scroll was inside the room. That's strange, Y/N takes her scroll with her everywhere so I listened closely and I heard faint crying. I knew it was her because who else would it be so I started banging and calling out to her asking if she was ok.

The crying dies down and I hear Y/N's voice and it sounded full of fear.

Y/N: Coco? Is that you?

Coco: Yes it is me, would you let me in?

Y/N: I'm in the bathroom so I can't.

Coco: Well when you get out of the bathroom can you let me in?

I didn't get a reply so I became even more worried and told her that I was going to break the door down. To this, I also didn't get a reply so I proceeded to kick the door down and looked around the room for the bathroom.

When I found it after a short look I went to the door and turned the knob slowly only to get shouted at by Y/N.

Y/N: Don't open that door!

I took a step back in shock because I never thought that she would yell at me, even when she was mad she never yelled at me.

Coco: Y/N, what is going on? Why aren't you coming out of the bathroom?

I heard a shaky breath before she spoke again.

Y/N: There is a giant spider that is on the door. *long pause* I have a phobia of spiders.

Coco: Oh my oum, Y/N why didn't you just tell me that from the start I would have come in and killed it for you.

Y/N: You don't understand Coco, it jumps, I don't want it to jump towards me if you try to open that door.

I listened as she started to cry after she said that sentence, I felt so bad knowing that she had arachnophobia and she was practically being held hostage by a spider in her bathroom. I put my hand on the door and said in the sweetest voice that I can do.

Coco: Y/N stand back, I'm coming in.

I ignored her pleases for me not to and turned the knob and opened the door and ran to her. She was huddled in the corner so I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her close to me. She was crying hard and I turned around to look for the spider with her still in my arms. I found it crawling on the wall making its way towards us. I told her to stay where she is and got up and took my shoe off and in one quick motion, I smashed the spider against the wall and kept my shoe there then turned to her.

Coco: Ok Y/N, the spider is under my shoe, can you go into the room and sit on the bed?

To that she nodded in response and got up so quickly and ran out of the bathroom. After taking care of the spider I went out of the bathroom and found her sitting on her bed with her knees pulled up to her chest. I sat next to her and pulled her into me so that she was cuddled on my lap while I hugged her and tried to calm her down.

Coco: Hey hey look at me, you're fine the spider is gone, everything is alright you are safe.

She looked up at me but didn't say anything so we just sat like that for a little while longer until she finally said something. 

Y/N: Thank you for saving me Coco, I didn't know what to do and I left my scroll so I couldn't call anyone to help me. I'm sorry that I bothered you, I'm sure you were busy and all.

I looked at her in shock at what she was saying so I stopped her before she can continue to talk bad about herself. I put a finger to her lips to stop her talking.

Coco: No no no, you don't have to apologize because you have a phobia of spiders. I care about you and to see you so scared made me worry about you and I wanted to be there for you. Also, I wish that you would have told me about your phobia so you didn't have to suffer by yourself.

She looked down and buried her face in my chest and hugged me saying "thank you" in a soft voice. We sat there hugging for a while and ended up forgetting about our little lunch 'date'.
