-Y/N's Pov-

I heard my alarm going off meaning that it was time to start my long day because it was cleaning day in my wife and I's house. You see, my wife is Raven Branwen and she is the boss of one of the biggest mafias in Remnant. When I got up and got ready, getting dressed and taking a shower, I went downstairs so that I could start getting breakfast ready for Raven and me. I knew that she was getting up in a few minutes, and I was right since I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and a pair of arms wrap around my waist a few minutes later.

Raven: Good morning my beautiful wife *kisses Y/N on the back of the neck*

Y/N: A good morning to you as well baby

I turned in her arms so I could give her a proper kiss, which she tried to deepen but I pushed her away because I was cooking and didn't want to get burnt. When I pushed her away she had a cute pout on her face so I gave her a quick peck on the lips and turned back to the food. After making the food and setting it out on the table, we were sat down to eat, when her scroll went off and she stepped away to take the call.

When she came back she said that something came up at the office that she needed to attend to as once so she was going to have to leave early. I told her that I understood and she gave me one last kiss on the forehead and started to head out the door. Once I heard the door close, I got up and got ready to start cleaning the house, which was going to take a few hours.

-Timeskip of 2 hours into the hard cleaning-

I was getting ready to start cleaning the bathroom on the first floor when I heard the door handle jiggle, I raised my eyebrow and looked in the direction of the door. When the doorknob started to shake more viciously I went to the pistol that was hidden under the kitchen table but stopped when I heard voices.

??? 1- I thought I heard a noise in there a little bit ago

??? 2- Are you sure that we have the right house, we don't need more people getting hurt than needs be.

??? 3- Would you two just shut up and get the damn door open so we can get her and get back to boss.

I knew that they weren't talking about Raven because she would have texted me and told me that one of her men was coming to pick me up. While I was thinking, my thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door breaking down and I jumped but was still about to keep a firm hold on the pistol so it didn't fall and draw attention. I heard multiple footsteps enter the house and I took a deep breath to steady myself. Raven taught me how to shot a gun when we first got married so that if I ever needed to protect myself I could so I decided to use what she taught me.

I got out from behind the counter and fired at the first guy, it hit him in the back of the knee and he let out a cry of pain then collapsed to the floor, alerting his buddies of what happened. They both turned to me and fired at me, I felt a burning pain in my shoulder and my thigh and I look to see that I was bleeding from both spots. The guys took this chance to run towards me and grab me so that could put the restraints on me. I didn't try to struggle since that would cause more damage to the bullet wounds. I felt a hard impact on the back of my head and my vision went black.

-Timeskip 2 1/2 hours later-

-Raven's Pov-

I was sitting in my office thinking about what I should do about Diego, he is the boss of the second largest mafia, lately he has been causing a lot of trouble and threatening me for money. Of course, I am never going to give him money because he will use it for bad. There was a knock on my door and my second in command, Antonio, came in with his scroll in hand and he looked a little panicked.

Raven: What is it Antonio, why do you look so fidgety?

Antonio: Boss, Diego sent you a video and is demanding more money from you.

Raven: How is that any different from what he has been doing for the past year?

Antonio: You have to see the video to get that answer. *Hands me the scroll*

I hesitantly grab the scroll from his hands and I look at the video and press play. When the video starts I see Diego's smug face looking at me.

Diego: Hello my dear Raven, it's a lovely day today isn't it? I have a surprise to show you but first I want you to listen to my offer. I want $500k and you aren't going to give it to me so I thought, why not take what is most important to you and trade it?~

He turns that camera and my red eyes darken as I see my wife tied to a chair with multiple bruises on her face and I can see a bullet wound in her shoulder and thigh. I hear Y/N's muffled cries but it is hard to make anything out with a cloth tied around her mouth. One of Diego's men goes up to Y/N and I watch in fury as he starts to hit her in the face while another one holds her in place so she can't move at all.

After a few more hits they finally stop and Y/N's head falls down so her chin meets her chest, I look down at her hand and realize that she is making symbols with her hand. I feel a ping in my heart when I see that she is saying where she is.

Raven: 502 warehouse *I grab a map and markdown where the place is*

I yell to Antonio and tell him to gather the boys because we are going for a hunt. I will make sure that he pays for all the things that he did to my wife and he won't live to be able to regret it.

-30-minute drive later-

I arrived at the warehouse with the rest of my men and we prepared to breach the building so I sat posts for my men to make sure that no one leaves this place alive and that I would take care of Diego personally.

-Y/N's Pov-

I was feeling so tired from all the abuse that this man has put me through, my eyes were starting to close when I heard multiple guns being fired. At this, my eyes shot open and I looked at the door thinking that someone would come in and hurt me again, next thing I know I hear something hit the door and blood cover the window on the door. I tried to keep my breathing in rhythm so whoever was on the other side of the door wouldn't hear me but I guess it was too late. The door started to open and I closed my eyes tight until I heard a voice that I know all too well.

Raven: Y/N?

I opened my eyes so quickly to see my wife standing at the door with a gun in her hand. I tried to call out to her but it was muffled with the cloth and I started crying, relieved to see my wife here with me. She ran over to me and hesitantly put her hands on my face and I looked up at her and saw that she was crying. She took the cloth off and started to untie me until I winced in pain from the pressure being taken off my shoulder. She looked at me concerned and did a look over my body looking at all the bruises and wounds that I had.

Raven: I'm so sorry that I let this happen to you.

Y/N: This is not your fault, I'm just glad that you got my message.

Raven: Everything is ok now, I am going to untie you and get you out and treated at the clinic at the base.

I nodded at her but that didn't stop the winces that I let out when she was untying me, I gave her reassurance to let her know that she wasn't hurting me but the ropes. She didn't seem to calm down with that but I kept reassuring her anyway just to help a little. After that she picked me up bridal style and started walking out of the place, I buried my face in her shoulder so I didn't have to see all the dead bodies. As I did that, she held me closer to comfort me while we made it to her car and she opened the back door and set me in, shortly getting in after me.

The ride to the base was quiet so I decided that it would be good for me to sleep because my eyes were feeling really heavy so I let them shut and let sleep take over me.

-Quick Raven Pov-

I heard soft snoring so I looked down and saw my bruised wife sleeping against my chest, just looking at her injuries made my blood boil but we have Diego and I will treat him accordingly. I gave Y/N a quick kiss on the cheek and she smiled in her sleep to which I smiled too and the car ride was silent for the rest of the drive.
