"What happened to mom and dad?" I asked lowly.
"Kenneth, you have no need to worry. Just go ahead and play with your friends,"
I was getting upset by not knowing the truth. "But I want to know!"

The look on Kenneth's face made me glee in happiness and it was just something that brightens my day even more. I thought he already knew that somehow soon, we would be going for Italy to solve this trouble. But his face seemed to show that it was possible for us to just go to Italy. Yeah, I know what he was thinking... money. It was okay, I could cover both of us for the plane, all he needed to do is get there and crack this case up.
I received a call from Rafael, at first I thought it was maybe another killing that happened in Richmond Street but turns out, he was struggling to tell my mom where I was. Mom came to my office in search for me, he told me that she wanted to have another discussion of the marriage matter. I had to lower my voice in order for Kenneth not to hear all of this commotion I was going through. He had enough of cases on his shoulder, well one, but at his age, I really do not want to give him more burden and worry about me. Although I would love and appreciate it if he cared for me. My heart would need some of that touch.
"You're kidding, right? How am I supposed to cover that amount of money to Italy?" He started to question. I knew it, he was just so uncertain about himself.
I smirked at him, leaning closer. "It's fine, I'll cover us up. You don't have to worry. Treat this as a gift from me to you," I said as I touched his chest with my finger. Alfred looked at both of us, keeping quiet as he saw the intimacy in front of him.
But then he spoke up, after hearing our plan to Italy. "Alright then Christian, I will have the weapons be sent to Italy so you don't have to worry about bringing them with you," My head turns towards the old man, nodding at his statement.
"Thanks Alfred, what's the price?" I asked, taking out my wallet. The man pushed my hand away, then proceed to look after Kenneth, an understanding expression on his face. "I don't think a price is necessary, Mr Knowles and Mrs Knowles needs the redemption,"
Kenneth awed at Alfred, then his face goes serious, taking a hint that Alfred was doing this for Kenneth's parents. "Thank you, Alfred, my family owe you so much,"
Alfred smiled. "No bother. But, the next time you come here, let it be suits and ties. I have been waiting so long to have a customer from the Knowles family," Kenneth chuckled, nodding at the old man. "Will do, Alfred. If I were to get married or you know some formal events," Married? He wants to get married? Does he have a girlfriend? A boyfriend? Speaking about marriage, it reminded of my mom. Shivers.
"Alright, we ought to get going. The plane is not going to wait and I suspect you have lots to pack," I said to him, earning myself a scrunched up face Kenneth. "No, I do not have 'lots' to pack," He muttered, crossing his arms over his chest.
We said our goodbyes to Alfred. Walking out of the store, my eyes spotted Origin's minions near us, they were blocking our way to get outside this mall. Kenneth's body stiffens beside me, he knew it too. Now, they were walking towards our direction, if we were to walk backwards, they would suspect something odd about us. I pushed Kenneth to the wall beside him, having his back against the wall.
