Mei woke up feeling fresh. The sun is out, and shining so bright. It's been years since Rein and her had been dating.

Mei was so happy to be spending time with her girlfriend again, yet for some unknown reason she had been having this dream that that girlfriend of hers was a guy.

What the actual fuck is that?

Since Mei is a huge believer of science, she believes that it might actually be an alternate universe. She wonders how Rein would react to it. Just thinking about it made her giggle.

Rein and her had been childhood friends evers since they were young. Unknown to her at that time, Rein already had a massive crush on her ever since they were young. While Rein was falling in love with her, she was flirting with a guy named Lance.

Funny thing is that, when Mei and Lance dated, she kept on thinking about Rein. What's even funnier is that Rein became colder towards Mei which Mei hates. They became enemies that time. Rein would tease her and also ignore her. Then time came when all Mei could think about is Rein.

Memories.

Mei slipped into her oversized hoodie-Rein's to be specific. She complemented it with a pair of fitted denim jeans. Rein would always blush at the sight of Mei wearing her clothes.

"I'm late. Shit!" Mei ran down from her dorm.

Mei and Rein moved away from their hometown to start college. Despite Rein practically begging her to be in the same dorm as Mei, she rejected her girlfriend's offer.

The fact that she would be too distracted if she were in were to be in the same dorm as her. Mei promised to move in with Rein after college when both of them have jobs already.

Time passes fast. Just in a blink of an eye they would graduate already.

It won't hurt to wait.

Rein was standing by the fountain. Her beautiful brunette hair cascaded down her shoulders and once again, Mei fell in love all over with Rein again. She thought to herself how stupid she was to let go of a person this stunning yet amazing of a person before. She better travel back in time and smack her younger self to her senses.

"You're late again." Rein said, arms crossed.

Mei stole a kiss from Rein's lips and apologized, "Sorry!"

Mei linked her arms to Rein's trying to play it off her annoyed girlfriend.

"Did you know I have been recently dreaming you were a guy?" Mei said.

The expression on Rein's face says it all. Mei laughed her ass out. She was right! Rein really made an interesting expression.

"Ewwwww. I'm a girl and always would be." Rein became defensive.

Rein's face showed a shocked expression. Her eyebrows were crooked.

"Don't tell me you like guys now? You want me to become a guy?" Rein said worriedly.

Mei just chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Oh please. As if. I don't care if you're a boy or not, as long as it's you, I'll date you." Mei declared her love.

Rein smirked.

"Even when I'm a dog?" She joked.

Mei rolled her eyes and walked ahead into the mall without waiting for Rein. She heard Rein calling her name.

Mei smiled.

She better learn her lesson before she jokes about it again.

"Hey, I'm sorry alright. Come on." Rein pouted.

Mei sighed.

How could she get angry when Rein's this adorable when she pouts? She really just want to hate this person sometimes.

"Come on." Mei said while Rein happily linked their arms together.

"I won't ask about it any-"

"I like you the way you are." Mei said arching her eyebrows.

"You're way delicious that way." Mei continued in a soft whisper that tickled Rein's neck.

Rein could only blush out of shyness. How could her tiny girlfriend be so feisty while they were outside. She felt her throat dry. Mei pulled Rein a tad closer, making Rein's arm brush on Mei's clothed breast.

She's flirty today. Rein thought, gulping.

She wondered what made her girlfriend this way so suddenly.

Mei, who noticed the sudden silence, glanced at her girlfriend. Rein's eyes were also dilated. It seems like Rein won't be letting her back to her dorm later on, and she didn't mind it one bit. They immediately exited the mall and onto Rein's dorm. It looks like their plans for today had been changed. Well, since midterms are near, they might as well spend some time together before they are unable to see each other.

If you didn't know, this is based on my other story "I Hated You" which I wrote three years back. It's not a girl x girl story sadly so I thought, why not make an au one where they are both girls. Do tell me if I should put some action scenes for the next stories. I do plan to only make this a fluffy cute romance type but who knows.
