[Chloe x Natalie]
Natalie walked towards the hallway with a horrible expression. It's been a month since Natalie and she has started dating each other. Natalie hadn't known that Chloe's birthday was in the first week of February and was the only one who didn't prepare a gift for her. Chloe herself didn't mention it to her. She was suddenly surprised when her family was invited to Chloe's 18th birthday party that will be held in the comfort of their home. The only ones who were invited aside from her family and her were Beatrice, Ava, Vanessa, and Alice who all knew about Chloe's birthday. Her sister, Felicia, laughed her asses off when she discovered that Natalie wasn't aware of Chloe's birthday. Chloe herself initially had forgotten to mention it to her. Chloe didn't mind and was glad that their parents were happy for them.
Natalie didn't feel good about the fact that she had forgotten her girlfriend's birthday. Right there and there at the party she accidentally announced to the whole room while talking to Chloe that she would take Chloe's family to Hawaii as Chloe's birthday gift. Annie and Harvey told her that it wasn't a big deal; however, Natalie kept insisting. In order to shut her up, Chloe smooched her right there and there. Natalie flushed deep red while Chloe simply smirked and said, "Best gift ever."
Felicia laughed her ass off. Natalie's parents sighed at what they had just seen and offered to have a family bonding someday with them which Nataliel's parents would cover. "After all, we need to get to know our in-laws," William said while giving Annie and Harvey a short hug.
It's been a week since then. Natalie vowed not to forget to give something to Chloe for Valentine's Day. She's Chloe's girlfriend after all and besides, she wanted to give Chloe something special as well. She couldn't forget what Chloe had given her for her birthday and damn was Chloe extremely romantic at that time.
Natalie rang her butler's phone immediately while standing near the building windows for fresh air. Classes had just ended, and she better gets her Valentine's gift for Chloe as soon as possible. She sighed. Today's been a bothersome day. Despite making it clear that Chloe and she were an item already, there were still plenty of persistent guys trying to chase her and woo her with flowers and chocolates. The fact that they didn't even get her dark chocolates which were the only flavor she preferred says a lot about their intentions.
"Did Danny bring me the book and strawberry flavored chocolates?" Natalie asked.
Natalie flew to California that night in order to get the famous Claire Florten's new book signed as Valentine's gift to Chloe. Claire and Natalie's parents were familiar with each other, and not to mention she'd designed some of Claire's dresses which she wore two months ago for her award-winning book. Claire was more willing to give Natalie a pre-signed book that won't be out not until the next. Chloe would surely be extremely happy with this gift. Because of this, Natalie had been slept deprived for today. She'll be skipping practice for her today. She'll just bear Coach Samuels scolding tomorrow.
Natalie turned around and walked towards the front gate of the school. She was waiting for Danny, her driver to arrive only to find Chloe being confessed to by a certain girl. Natalie bit the side of her cheek. She couldn't deny that Chloe would be able to attract a few girls into her pockets. Recently before Valentine's Day, there had been a handful of girls waiting for Chloe to cross their paths. There was even one who pretended to accidentally drop their handkerchief in front of Chloe when they were walking towards the cafeteria.
Natalie trusted Chloe but seeing Chloe reject the other girl relieved her heart. Natalie played with her arm. She gets easily jealous even though she fully knows that Chloe wouldn't betray her. Natalie sighed. Her phone suddenly rang which made Chloe look at her way.
