Epilogue

Time went by and me and Colton will be celebrating our first year anniversary today. 3 months after Mary's wedding, we became official. I can clearly remember how he had always been by my side and did not pressure me to be in a relationship. Lagi niya lang pinaparamdam sa akin na nasa tabi ko lang siya and he waited until I was fully healed. I can recall what he said to me one night when I opened a topic about it.

"Di kita minamadali. Don't rush and I will greatly appreciate kung talagang masisiguro mo nang fully moved on ka na sa past mo. Basta I only have one favor to ask, Mirianne. Don't push me away. Don't make me stop making you feel that I like you and I love you. Let me stay beside you until you fully let go. Just that, nothing more. Just let me be next to you. I want to be there as you go through the process."

I am currently getting ready for our date night. Actually, it's a surprise date. We were suppose to go out for dinner but I said masama ang pakiramdam ko so sabi ko, dalhan nalang niya ako ng gamot sa bahay. Tonie was so supportive of my dinner plans and before going out to spend the night at his boyfriend's unit, he helped me set up his place for my surpise.

"Ang sweet naman! Naku, gagayahin ko nga to, gagawin ko din to sa next birthday ni baby. Tapos ikaw, tsupi ka muna. Dun ka muna matulog kina Colton ha."

"Oo ba. Let me know kung kelan. Thanks, Tonie sa help at sa lahat ng naitulong mo sa'kin since I moved here."

"Sows. Lam mo naman, best cousin kaya ako. O sige na. Aalis na ako para makapagsolo na kayo. Enjoy the night ha. Basta alam mo na, ninang ako."

I just gave my cousin a small smile at napairit pa siya dahil mukhang may balak pa daw kami ngayon ni Colton. Not that I have plans but if something happens, I know I won't regret it.

I am all set up and Colton sent a message that he will be here in a few. I sprayed on my favorite perfume that latter on became Colton's favorite as well. Kapag gamit ko ang pabangong yun ay mas nagiging extra clingy at touchy si Colton sa akin. He would always bury his nose on my neck and will leave small kisses there, too and I like it when he does that.

I heard a knock and seems like Colton just arrived. I gave myself a final check in the mirror and went to the door after. His jaw dropped upon seeing me and I bit my lip because he looked so surprised! Just the way I like it.

"Sabi mo may sakit ka!" he said in a kinda loud tone but he obviously liked what he is seeing. He was trying to suppress his smile by biting his lower lip.

I am wearing a tight dress that hugs my body showing my shape. The dress was not Not too sexy but still shows some skin. My cleavage was kinda visible as well.

"Happy anniversary, babe," I greeted him then tip toed to give him a kiss on his lips. I then took the flowers in his hand and gently pulled him inside the unit and closed the door. I was about to walk towards the table where our dinner is set when he stopped my tracks by hugging me from behind.

He enclosed his arms around my waist for a few seconds and sniffed my scent, and as expected, he buried his nose on the crook of my neck. I tilted my head to the left to give him more access and After a few seconds, he turned me around and kissed me fully on the lips.

Colton had always been gentle on our kisses but the way he kissed me now is different. I was surprised at first but I kissed him back with the same intensity after. We kissed for about a minute then he stopped but his lips were still with mine when he greeted me happy anniversary.
